Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

I'll be okay, my battery should last a few years more, and I bet the Transmitter would give me a map. So what's left is...

...a way to defend myself...I don't know how to do that. I didn't even move beyond a rail before, how can I defend myself?

Okay, that's two problems out of the way!

[ The problem is self-defense, so time to try to solve it! ]

Uum... Self-preservation! Did they program you with that? Should give idea how to defend yourself.

Of course I have self-preservation. I want to stay alive. [Which is why he's making shelters and stuff instead of charging blindly into the snow storm, heh]

But I don't know how to defend myself. I don't have weapons, I'm not a turret.

Then-- Wait, what's turret?

[ The word sounds familiar, but the dots aren't quite connecting in her head just yet. ]

The machine that shoots bullets. Very lethal, not good at holding conversations--turrets.
positivespin: (somersault shoot)

[personal profile] positivespin 2017-06-23 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. That sounds very different from you. [ She'll just reach out to try to pat him on the head (?). ] Something else might be better, but not sure what you can carry and store.
dangerousfool: (Say apple)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-23 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
[Very reluctantly, Wheatley lets QQ pat him. It's still as weird as he thinks it'd be]

I think I could carry anything. Look at these arms, they're going to resist anything you want. [Literal stick arms, but at least they're metallic and sturdy.

...nope, the patting is weird, he has decided. He tries to ward QQ's hand off with one of his handles]

Stop the patting already, thanks.
positivespin: (somersault shoot)

[personal profile] positivespin 2017-06-23 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, okay. [ Patting stopped! ] How about a spear then? Might be hard to store for you, but long reach can put distance between you and enemy. Then you can decide if you want to fight more or flee.
dangerousfool: (That was a jump. Say apple)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-23 03:15 pm (UTC)(link)
That'd be perfect! A spear it will be. Now how to make one...

[There could be one in the vending machine, but Wheatley isn't sure]

For now, something long and stick-like should work. Should have something like that in storage?
