Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

Because I get the feeling the punishment for rule-breaking is death. I really don't think it's worth it.
heritrix: (intelligent conversation)

[She somewhat regrets telling him now, but they're lucky this isn't... Well, anyone else, really. There are a handful of people she's come to respect among the other Patients, but few she would listen to on this particular subject.]

They say we're important. What's more, investigation is encouraged. Why would they go that far?
ossifragant: (⊗ it was all for our very own good)

The kitchen is off-limits at night. I don't know why, but I feel like investigating it is only something we can do in the day.

Sure, I could be wrong. But what if I'm not? I'd rather you not die, kid.

[By his tone, the nickname is entirely affectionate and not meant to be condescending.]
heritrix: (oh no he's hot)

[She can tell. There's a clear difference from the way he uses it, and the way Kogami talks of adults; like she's excluded. Rin wasn't expecting that warmth, simple as it was, and it clearly takes her aback as she has no eloquent response.

Actually she hardly has a intelligible response. It sounds like she might be going for "huh" or "eh" but it's too squeaky to tell.]
ossifragant: (⊗ your children have turned on you)

[The reaction makes him smile, but it's a bit too polite to be anything but.]

Just... be careful, okay? I don't really want to find out how much of a stickler for the rules the Risen are.

[...]

On a scale of 1 to 10, how likely do you think it is that I'd really die?
ossifragant: (⊗ place your bets)

I don't know-- a seven or an eight?
heritrix: (mrrrrr)

Hm. That's pretty high.

[She frowns, leaning against the lockers for a moment as she weighs her options here, but appears to make her decision quickly enough.]

You have a couple hundred years on me. I know you're a homunculus, but I have to assume you've also lived this long because you learned to trust your gut.

[She's not sure if she should count that as a point for him or a point against her, but she moves to put the towels back. On one of the lower, reachable shelves.]

Since it's you, I'll rely on that too, today.
ossifragant: (⊕ death they'll bring)

[He gives a tight smile.]

I won't tell you to trust me or anything like that, but you don't have to. We will investigate this place, we just need to do it without tripping over one of those rules.
heritrix: (how did I delete these keywords)

[It's more respect than trust, but... He doesn't need to know that.]

Come find me if you have a good investigation idea, in that case. I have nothing but time these days.

[—time. Rin looks out the door of the changing rooms.]

Crap, I forgot about QQ. [Picking up her sword, she makes her way out in a hurry now.] Talk to you later, Greed!
