Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

[He'll pause for a moment when McGillis addresses him, but after that Krauser will return to what he's doing.]

I suppose you could call it that. I've found that it has its uses in the right situations.

[Because of course this man can't do anything for fun, there has to be a purpose behind it.]

[He'll just mostly be fiddling around with a crossbow himself, and it's probably obvious McGillis has never handled one before but. Well. Why not.]

Is that right? It doesn't seem particularly practical to carry around.

[That'll get him to pause for a moment to watch McGillis, though he doesn't say anything about the crossbow.]

It isn't, no. It's not my first pick for a weapon, but if I need to use it, I can.
aspiringly: (that's quite the tale you have there.)

[He's mostly checking how to hold and cock it... at the moment.]

Well, I can't say it isn't useful now that we're in a situation where you can make the most of it. Still, it doesn't seem like that would be a standard weapon for people to learn outside of hunting and competition.

Yeah. It's definitely not standard, but it's been interesting to learn how to use it effectively.

If we stay here long enough, it wouldn't be bad to learn, at least.

[And with that, he seems to have the gist of how to operate this thing without hurting himself. Time to load an arrow! And move in front of an unoccupied target.]

Are you familiar with crossbows as well?

[Go for it, McGillis!! He'll watch to see how you do.]

I'm not, actually. Never had the opportunity to learn how to use one. No time like the present though, I suppose.

[He's going to do it, he's going to go for the gold at the Beijing Olympics!!]

I've heard they're easier to handle compared to some firearms, so we'll see.

[And there it goes. For a first time, it's actually pretty good; the bolt's not in the bullseye or anything, but it's in the ring outside of it.]

Acceptable, I suppose.

[He nods appreciatively.]

Good shot for your first time.

[It's downright impressive, but Krauser doesn't usually give out praise that easily, so take that instead.]

Thank you. I still prefer a pistol myself, but I could probably get used to this in time.

Would you like to give it a try?

[He'll hold the crossbow out if Krauser wants to take it.]
