Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

Very. Whatever is in these [she takes her envelope for emphasis] must be accurate, and that's the worst part.

At the same time, I have to wonder exactly how they intend to deliver these to our homes.

Presumably the same way they plucked us from them.

Well, I suppose the better question is how precisely will they be going about it? Are they going to send a messenger? Just leave a little note in the office of somebody important?

You've got a point there. These incentives can be dismissed with simple logic, for the most part.

...Or it could present us an interesting opportunity, if there's a messenger involved.

You believe you can contact them?

Not exactly... it depends more on whether or not we get lucky and have people back home who will take the initiative to use this theoretical messenger as a means to saving us.

Surely someone showing up out of nowhere with information about us would be a clue as to what caused our disappearances, wouldn't it?

Oh, most likely. But that depends on whether they can.

Yes, that's a pretty big unknown factor.

But it's still better than nothing, isn't it?
