Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

It's a little difficult to swim with a shirt on. Also, I prefer to work out shirtless, so it will happen. Though usually people get flustered and displeased about it.

No, but I'm certain there's an amount of decency people would want me to show around here. It's why I stayed hidden in the laundry room while waiting for my clothes to dry.

You never know who might be.

[He shrugs. Or maybe he's actually aware that, uh, he has an attractive body. Who knows?]

My money's on George if only because he might be jealous about someone being more physically appealing than he is.

You realize that's purely subjective, right?

For some people, but last I checked, my status as a doctor means that all of my "subjective" opinions are almost actually proven to be fact.

[He's joking, but at the same time... George could probably be knocked down a peg honestly.]

So are you implying that there's a science behind one's attractiveness?

[Well, they're going down this road, may as well see it through.]

And if I said that there might be? I'm surprised you don't know about the mathematical equation where you multiply certain facets of a person's looks with their personality to get the formula that determine's one's attractiveness?

And we both know that's bullshit.

I look into personality more when it comes to how attractive others are.

Really? Then tell me, what kind of personalities do you consider attractive in a person?

[Are they in high school...?]

Sincere, kind, and caring, I suppose. Passionate about what they do. I guess there's also the compatibility aspect.

[He gives Danny a look.]

Though I'm not entirely sure why you're so curious about this.

I can't simply ask out of curiosity?

You could. But you make it sound like you're trying to hook me up with someone.

[Listen, he would be the world's worst romantic partner as he is right now.]

Does it really? I can't imagine what the point would be in doing that, given the situation and there not being a lot of options to choose from here.

There's not, however, it's because we're in this situation people may be attempting to find someone they can find comfort in.

... Hm, I suppose that's true. Trauma can sometimes bring people together in strange ways, after all.

So can your co-worker tasing you to the point you're hospitalized for three days.

[He laughs. They've been close ever since, so...]
