Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

I suspect she wouldn't be allowed, no. It's likely key to how this place is run.

Mmmm. It is a common thread in our conversations.

Do you have examples?
journalname: (🔱 small shock)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-21 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
[Shrug]

Nearly any question about our situation, really. There are ways that this can end, aside from...Rule Seven...but she could not give me any more details about them. Nor about what their end goal is.
heritrix: (no wonder you've got demons)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-21 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
[...ah.]

I didn't ask her that one, but I indirectly asked the Risen. They said they're not sharing.

She did say there was an outcome where we could all return home. But that she hoped we would remain. Something about that was...something they had been working towards.

She also told me that they did not choose us for this. They received us, from someone else. Only the number was predetermined.
heritrix: (turn)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-21 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
[...wait, so--]

There's someone in charge above the Risen...?
journalname: (🔱 uncertainty)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-21 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Above, or simply separate. I am not sure if they received orders from this other party. She said they had...waited a long time for us, which rather makes it sound as if this were...well, some sort of favor. Or a transaction.
heritrix: (don't be tacky)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-21 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
Again with the long time...

[Rin frowns, but shakes her head. She should clarify.]

When I spoke to the Risen, they said "they haven't had this much fun in a long time". They confirmed when I asked that they've done this before with others, but the last time was boring for them.
journalname: (🔱 skepticism)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-21 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
.....boring in what way?
dangerousfool: (good luck)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-21 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Surely that means nobody killed anyone.

[Because Wheatley can't imagine how else it'd be boring for them]
journalname: (🔱 askance)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-21 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure you are right. It is still not the word I would have chosen.

Someone should see if they are willing to tell what happened to that group, when their exercise ended.
heritrix: (looms)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-21 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
They wouldn't say; only that this was by far more exciting to them. When I pressed them that if any of us did pass this course that would probably bore them too, they said that was there words and not mine, and had nothing more on the subject.
journalname: (🔱 uncertainty)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-21 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps that would not matter. This whole time, it has sounded as if this is all for some goal. Far beyond just entertainment...though perhaps they are getting that as well.
heritrix: (intelligent conversation)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-21 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
[(ooc: the tag before should have read "they said that was my words and not theirs")]

Supposedly.
halleberry: (a clockwork orange)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-21 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps the difference between last time and this time would be the incentives, then? Since they seem to take so much pleasure in introducing them.
