Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

I don't see why this would only be a concern for the women. Really, sitting with a group can be anxiety-inducing for anyone...

[He's not quite grasping the social etiquette aspect of the whole thing.]

[He casts his gaze downward, almost like he wants to re-submerge himself.]

I have been described as such. I am...not good with groups.

You just need to get more practice! I'm sure you'll feel more comfortable in no time if you do.

The parties we have are a good place to start, everyone usually attends those, even people like Krauser.

[He nods slowly.]

I've been doing my best to attend. It was very difficult at first, but...I think it might be getting a little easier? I am talking to people more, at least...

That's good! You can talk to me anytime, even outside of parties. I'll be more than happy to help you practice.

[He's very obviously not used to people being so welcoming like that. Now that he thinks about it, though...this could be a good time to practice by bringing up something he's been considering since the first week.]

Actually, there's something I've been meaning to ask you...

We both have a question mark next to our age in our profiles... Do you know what that is in your case?

[cadmiums]

[ Shakes his head.] I don't know.

Do you?

[cthulwho]

[Lovecraft, meanwhile, tilts his head out of curiosity.]

You don't?

[A thoughtful hum follows. Ryoji doesn't know, and apparently neither do the Transmitter or the Risen. Well, it's not all that strange, considering his own case...]

For myself... I think it's something of an approximation. I guess I look twenty-eight? But honestly, it's been a very long time since I thought about my age.

[cadmiums]

It doesn't make any sense to me. If I wasn't sixteen, I wouldn't be in the year I am in school. [ A beat.]

I don't know what my occupation means either.

[cthulwho]

[It is odd, Lovecraft agrees. There could be quite a few explanations for the questionable age, and Lovecraft's best guess should probably be left unstated.

...Perhaps Ryoji will instead remember why his age is listed like it is.]

An appriser...is someone who informs others. As for what it means to you, I cannot say.

Really? [ He kind of freezes for a moment, like he's on the verge of remembering something.]

I think, I- that seems right, but I can't remember.

Maybe you need more information... Were you not one at your earliest memory?

[When they all woke up here, that is. The dreams...make things a little convoluted. Who even knows what's going on there.]

I've never even heard of that word before, you're the first person who's been able to tell me what it is.

[cthulwho]

Really...? Well, I imagine there must be a reason it's listed there... From what I've been hearing, people are beginning to understand the inconsistencies in their profiles.

[cadmiums]

Oh, I see. All my dreams have been pretty normal so far, so I'm not sure if that will be the case for me.

[cthulwho]

It is simply another thing that only time will reveal, I suppose...

[He frowns, considering that.]
