trustfelled | Week 3.

WEEK 3
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

So do you miss home?

[ So persistent. If Ryoji's going to keep asking, it'll be less annoying to give an answer. It won't be a comprehensive one but it's better than circling the same question over and over again. ]

No.

I don't think I've heard anyone say that besides you, Mikoto. [ Here have your coffee!]

That so. [ No surprise there. Please excuse him while he takes the coffee and sips it. ]

Yeah. [ He thinks for a moment while he pours himself his own cup.]

I kind of feel the same way, but I miss my friends at home. What about you?

[ This time, he exhales in exasperation while setting his cup down. It lands with a loud "clack" and some of the liquid spills over the rim. ]

Not really.

But aren't you a King? [ Look how much he cares, he went to look at your profile Mikoto!]

[ The reminder cuts through him and he can't help but send a sharp glare over to Ryoji. Thankfully, it won't last long. Once his initial irritation fades, he closes his eyes and lightly taps his index finger against his cup. ]
