Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

[He sees you eyeing all the things, Kogami. Still, it's a legitimate concern, although he's not well... dead, so he's doing something right here.]

I've pulled my fair share of all-nighters before, believe it or not.

[Just chatting casually as if there isn't a crossbow beside him, nbd.]

I believe you, however, it's quite a risk to take given how strict the rules are.

[And the way it seems, well, breaking rules may have horrible consequences.]
aspiringly: (that's quite the tale you have there.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-23 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
True, but I don't think it's possible to accomplish much here without incurring at least some risk. And at the very least, I'm confident in my ability to stay awake.

As long as you say so. Well, if you kicked the bucket due to breaking Rule 3, that means no one invoked Rule 7. So at the very least a trial wouldn't take place. We'd all just know that Natural Selection took its course.

[Even though to get answers, sometimes you need to be reckless.]

You really don't mince your words, do you? [Not that he looks particularly offended by it either way...!]

Still, I'll be sure to be careful just so that very situation doesn't transpire. I don't intend on dying here while accomplishing nothing, and I doubt it would do wonders for morale to have another unnecessary death.

Not really. [He's almost always incredibly blunt, one way or another, unless he's being a jackass.]

Our morale is already pretty low, so you would be right to not add to that.

[That, and he's been given a stern warning to not break the rules at all.]

You're always welcome to assist if you think I need some supervision. It wouldn't be the first time I've had someone hovering over my shoulder, at any rate.

[Not that he expects Kogami to take him up on it, but it's there.]

If you're asking me to care about your well-being, I'm afraid I'll have to decline.

[There's a chuckle.]

You breaking Rule 3 may hurt morale, however, that's it. We don't need to worry about a total party kill or a trial.
aspiringly: (not a bad outcome.)

Care is a bit of a strong word, but I understand. In any case, I wouldn't be much of a soldier if I couldn't take care of myself, and you have your own duties to attend to.

Good to see you know how to take care of yourself, then.

[Or so Kogami will hope. He doesn't want to find his dead ass somewhere because he couldn't pull an all-nighter outside of his room.]

With that said, has your all-nighter proven fruitful?
aspiringly: (pirates. i think pirates would win.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-26 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
[McGillis also hopes his dead ass won't be found anywhere, because well. That'd mean he's dead.

And that's bad.]

Unfortunately not as much as I'd have preferred, although I wasn't expecting much it to be quite that easy anyways. All I can do is confirm that no one has come by to take these [Gesture towards a canvas.] away while I was here.
