Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

You do appear more exuberant than usual. [To say the least.......] What happened?

[He has an inkling of what it might be, but who knows? Something else could have turned up as well.]

Had a really nice dream! It was all about the first two airships developed in their world! How they can go through the air is so cool!
aspiringly: (now let me think on this.)

Airships... do you mean airplanes?

[He's never heard of them called that before but well. That's what it sounds like to him?]

Airships! They look a lot like ships. Aside from part where they can move through air.

That doesn't sound very aerodynamic, but given enough propulsion, then I can see it working.

[Maybe. It's definitely not the best design but then again he comes from a place where giant robots can fly with thrusters so. While he's at it though...]

Is that the most advanced piece of technology you know of, then?

It takes a lot of gas to work the way it does.

[ And possibly JRPG magic, considering how they can zip around on it. ]

Yes. What is travel like in your world?

[Gas... that's pretty old school, compared to what he's used to!]

While we do have standard vehicles for land, water and air, space travel is also possible if you can afford a shuttle. It's fairly uncommon for most people to travel between planets or the colonies unless they're on business or vacation, however.

[ She has a ton of questions, but that last part in particular really catches her attention. ]

...Planets? Most people don't die from doing that?

Shuttles and ships are engineered specifically to handle the rigors of space travel, so they're quite safe, I assure you.

[Unless a giant robot comes to tear up your ship or something. Then you might be in trouble, but what are the chances of that happening anyways?]

That's...quite different from what QQ uses to travel. Kind of jealous actually.

[ Travelling through the Triverse Gate has a disgustingly high chance of being mauled by invulnerable monsters. Not exactly a hot spot for tourism. ]
aspiringly: (don't you think it's a fine day?)

Oh? I'm curious to what you're used to using, especially since flying seems to be a new means to you.

[Of course, he's assuming some sort of ship and maybe primitive cars and such and not like. Dimensional travel.]

Boats and railroads. Not very big ones, but reliable enough. Much room for improvement though!

[ Well, that is sort of a thing, but it's definitely not widespread enough for her to mention here... ]

It is interesting how the technology in our worlds seem to hold a number of similarities. While travelling over water seems to be an obvious route, rails are a fairly specific means of land travel.
