Week 3.
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. |

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

But alright, he'll stand here and let Mikoto finish his masterpiece. ...Why couldn't this be done while the cardboard is on an easel, anyways? The world may never know, because McGillis doesn't think to ask after seeing what's been painted over that lonely white landscape.
...
Well okay then.]
Is that all you wanted to do?
no subject
"Well okay then" is probably the best reaction there can be. Mikoto doesn't look especially proud of his work, likewise he feels absolutely zero sense of accomplishment. That's... something? Right? Whatever. Now that he's finished his life's work, he (also carelessly) deposits the three items he gathered onto a nearby table. ]
Yeah.
no subject
Anyways, McGillis sets the canvas down on an easel without any further ado and picks up the fallen canvas too, while he's at it. After taking another second to look at Mikoto's... "piece", he'll turn back to the other man.]
Was there a reason behind that, or should I simply classify that as a whim of yours?
no subject
Hm... There's a pause before he responds, 'cause he's not positive he feels like explaining in-depth. ]
I want to see what'll happen. [ Nope, he doesn't. ]
no subject
And wow he can see that this will be like pulling teeth, won't it!!]
Do you mean with regards to what I'm investigating, or something else?
no subject
And yeah, probably. There are a lot of things in this world Mikoto finds too irritating to explain. ]
Hm. [ A beat. ] Yeah, you could say it's related.
no subject
Ahem. McGillis figures it's probably better to be blunt with Mikoto though; any polite niceties likely wouldn't make much of an impression anyways, so it's best to get to the point.]
What's your reasoning, then?
no subject
Sorry, but reason doesn't have much to do with it. [ He shrugs. Here you go, McGillis. The crappy explanation. ] I just thought you might learn something if there was a reaction.
no subject
Crappy explanation aside, at least there was some rationale behind it and there is some merit in checking something like that even if the actual means was kind of... strange.]
It is true that it's something to consider, if we take it to be a person who's responsible. However, if that's the case, it feels as if it may be more productive to send a more specific message and see if that generates a response.
no subject
... Hmm. Do what you want with it. [ With that, he shrugs and turns his back to the canvas and McGillis. They could probably talk more, but he doesn't have anything else to contribute.
Might as well leave. ]
