Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[They're actually just soft things that can be used to make barricades, not anything heavy-duty or steel!

There isn't anything off about them, though.]

[Ooh okay! Huh in that case maybe she can arrange or stack them in such a way for makeshift target practice after all, in lieu of a punching bag.

How heavy are they, actually? She might move them around a bit. Well, she definitely will before she moves on actually, to see if there's anything beneath them. If she's cleaning the room, she'll have to get under there too. Given the state too, she's curious to see if there will be any indication of how long the barricades have been here, such as the floor being cleaner under them, etc.]

[They're decently heavy, but you should still be able to move them! In fact, everyone here can probably move them around, though there's definitely some weight to them.

As for the floor underneath, you're right in guessing that it's cleaner! It looks like these things haven't been moved recently.]

[So these definitely weren't added, and were just left over from whenever this place is used last. It makes the lack of other equipment stranger. Rin has never trained in either a commercial or private dojo before, but based on the things she and Kirei worked with she would have expected more.

She still expects there should be more here, or at least evidence that more used to be here. So with that in mind Rin will be walking the perimeter for the room, both feeling and knocking on the walls. Checking where they meet the ground too, for any gaps that would indicate a hidden room or a secret supply closet. Japanese style dojos would have sliding doors, so they could blend in pretty seamlessly if properly covered up.]

[It's a good thing you thought to check the walls here because there is a section that sounds pretty hollow and on closer inspection, there's a gap visible on the ground. It's the sort of thing that's covered well, but it definitely looks like there's a sliding door here.]

[Aha. Can it be moved like this if she applies enough strength (she'll cautiously try that first), or will she have to go fetch something sharp to cut along the seams so it can properly slide?]

[It can be moved! You'll just have to shove it a little harder than you would most doors!]

[Congratulations, you've found a small storage room! It doesn't look like there's anything left in here though.

[Disappointment— oh wait, shiny thing. Rin likes shiny things, and crouches low to pick it up. What is this shiny thing.]

[It's a silver key! Congratulations, Rin!]

[Whoo! That is going right in a pocket.

She expects there's no way it will be this easy, but just in case she's going to step into the small storage room (is there enough space to fit for one person?) and see if she can get a peek at the ceiling for like a hidden compartment. Is there anything else to find, or are we done here?]
