[Well, that was one hell of a trial. Kogami’s tired and hungry. He’ll get his staple hamburgers, but maybe he’ll be nice enough to help make some for everyone.

So there’s a note that goes out:]

Food in the dining hall – K, P, Q, & R

[It’s quickly written and straightforward.

And indeed there is food. There’s a shitton of hamburgers made by Kogami and Rose, the sliced cheese prepared by Pizzaz, and cake by QQ. Pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and other such condiments are set out as well as an assortment of buns.

There’s not lighted candles this time, so it’s clear that the usual preparers didn’t help with this ‘buffet’. (Well, if it wasn’t clear with the note).

So rest, relax, and well, you’re probably going to have to get your own drinks this time, sorry…]

It is made from dried chamomile flowers. But there are often other flavors added in! Oh, speaking of which, would you like some sweetener with it? There is honey, and sugar.

[hehe! Osomatsu thinks about his answer first, his smile fading]

Mmm... I guess it's weird... I'm kinda mad that someone like that was with us the whole time, yanno? Like, I'm pretty sure the Risen knew about him, and what he did, and they still put him in here with us.

I suppose I am not surprised by that part of it. They clearly do not care much about our welfare.

And Gant was...good at concealing his nature. You should not be upset that you did not see it.

Yeah, guess you're right about both of those things. [a shrug] We'll never know what's gonna happen. But, uh. I'm trying to get by! Don't know how long I'll last, though, honestly.

[Osomatsu took another drink of the tea. actually, it was starting to relax him a bit]

I'm just... Not really strong, or smart. [he admits, staring at the beverage in the cup. no use trying to sugarcoat it. if someone came after him, he would probably not be able to defend himself] I'm an easy target. It seems like everyone has more experience with... I dunno, fighting, life, whatever. Even with those trials and adding up evidence, I sit there and I'm usually lost!

I cannot say I have been much use at the investigations, either. We all have our particular talents, and that is certainly not one of mine.

[For all that he...did something at this trial that could be construed as helpful.

Asgore turns and looks Osomatsu up and down for a moment before continuing.]

But fighting, perhaps, would be a more necessary skill to have. Would you be interested in learning?

[huh? Osomatsu tilts hie head up, looking surprised by the question]

I mean... I know some fighting. I used t'get into fistfights with my brothers all the time. I'm just not... terribly strong.

You could try exercising more! But that might wear you out too much...

How many brothers do you have?

[man, Osomatsu's too lazy to exercise! that seems like a pain]

Oh! Uh, there are six of us! We're sextuplets!

Gosh. That's unusual for humans, is it not?

It sure is! Back in our town, we're, like, legends! [well. he likes to think they are] When we were really little, we used to get into trouble a lot by playing pranks. We would fool our teachers, skip classes, get people to give us more presents, things like that!

Gosh. [He chuckles.] How nice, to have such a big family! You must have run your parents quite ragged.

[yes, yes he did! Osomatsu laughs lightly and nods]

Yeah, but they're strong. Especially mom! I mean, she has to be, to have dealt with all of us, yanno? But... yeah... It's great, having a big family. Sometimes I get annoyed, but most of the time, I'm happy to be with them!

I can imagine. I was an only child, myself - that is most common for my type of monster, given the way our souls work. But my son has a sibling, now!

Your son! [Osomatsu looks interested] You're a dad? [IMAGINE! this guy, who he thought was so scary at first, was a father! a monster dad!]

Oh, yes! I have two children, Asriel and Chara. They are about the same age - Asriel is a Boss Monster like me, and Chara is a human.
