Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much.
[Well, that was one hell of a trial. Kogami’s tired and hungry. He’ll get his staple hamburgers, but maybe he’ll be nice enough to help make some for everyone.
So there’s a note that goes out:]
Food in the dining hall – K, P, Q, & R
[It’s quickly written and straightforward.
And indeed there is food. There’s a shitton of hamburgers made by Kogami and Rose, the sliced cheese prepared by Pizzaz, and cake by QQ. Pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and other such condiments are set out as well as an assortment of buns.
There’s not lighted candles this time, so it’s clear that the usual preparers didn’t help with this ‘buffet’. (Well, if it wasn’t clear with the note).
So rest, relax, and well, you’re probably going to have to get your own drinks this time, sorry…]

Asgore regrets not helping with the party as soon as he receives the note, really, but he's been in his room this entire time. It is not exactly that he is mourning Gant; this trial did not hit him nearly as hard as the first. But there is something about it. Perhaps it is just that it keeps on happening.
He's quick to make his way to the party, though, even if he heads to the kitchen rather than the dining hall. He's definitely putting a kettle on to boil. You can get something to drink here, if that's your poison. It's something calming and herbal, but he's open to requests.
Otherwise, he can be found out in the dining hall, sipping from his own mug. Part of him would rather go and sit in the external foyer, but people need to talk, and perhaps some would like to talk to him. He should be available.]

and he's a social creature, so he probably should be hanging out with other people anyway.
he wanders into the kitchen and sees the giant monster by the kettle. he hasn't talked to Asgore much, because, at first, he was kind of scared of him! but their interactions have been pleasant, and Osomatsu knows now that he's not anyone to fear. probably. he thought the same thing about Gant, but...
he approaches!]

Except by the time she hits up the kitchen, intense fatigue results in a change of plans. She spends most of her time making coffee of all things, with her head bowed and avoiding eye-contact unless someone speaks to her first.
Then it's to external foyer where she's going to camp out by the window, business as usual. She's curled up more than the previous weeks, almost a ball, and... sometimes very gently smacking her forehead against the glass? Gurl. Always followed by a sip of coffee, and then she stills for another five minutes before repeating the process.]

After he's done, he's out in the external foyer just sitting there and smoking while eating a hamburger. A great combination... He's not doing anything real productive other than maybe space off while he's eating and smoking, but it's nice just clearing his mind. He's open to conversation, at the very least. Otherwise, he looks content to just be alone.
Eventually, he retires to room 8. He can't really sleep, so any company may be nice at the moment. Or if someone just wants to talk. It's all good.]

She's in there for the next several hours, showering, napping, and doing ... other things. You can knock if you want and would be checking on her. She feels so tired after all that.
By the time she comes out it's actually a little bit on the later on, probably closer to when it's "night" - she goes to the dining hall to pick off anything that might be left there. She'll pick off what is, and then sort of take it away. She stretches, seeing now need to linger there, but not sure where she wants to go. If there's people around, she's not against talking to them and will!
... But ultimately (and with some irony) she decides to go to the pool, marveling at how it's cleaned. She doesn't put on her swimsuit, but sits on the edge of it and kicks her legs in the water. It feels good to be alone in such a huge room but hey, come join her maybe. ]

Then she makes her standard trip to the external foyer, except... she's not really playing anything in particular. She appears to be trying to figure something out? There's a lot of repetition and trial and error going on.
Later on, she can be found in her room, with the door cracked, lying on her bed. She doubts she'll exactly be needed, but she might as well leave the offer open. ]

If anyone is looking for her, they won't find her in her room but the dojo. Her empty plate has been pushed to a corner, and she's doing laps around the room, sticking close to the walls in case she needs them. If she's encountered early she'll just be walking, but anyone who happens on her later will find her lightly jogging.
This said, Rin isn't intentionally trying to avoid anyone, and there's more than one person she'd like to apologize to. So she'll be a late show to the dining hall but she's there if everyone else didn't already duck out. It is late after all.]

...that means next week it'll happen again. It happened three times, it'll happen again. The situation is starting to be dire and he knows it.
That's why he's in hurry to start working on some stuff that may or may not calm everyone's mood. He doesn't know for sure. The problem is that it requires skills he doesn't have...maybe he can not be a complete beginner? 48 hours should be enough to practice.
Art Room]
You know, I didn't think something'd happen to Yusuke. I thought I could count on him for a bit longer.
[There's a small pile of paints and brushes to a side, but being here reminded him of what he had taken to the trial, the painting of that unknown human with the mask. That painting is now on the easel Wheatley had found it on]
What are we going to do with this? Leave it here? It's a good painting, I think, it'd be bad to destroy it.
[Foyer
Once Wheatley took an easel, paints and brushes to his room, he is in the foyer, standing in front of the piano. Wheatley has reduced the height of that weird body of his so he'll be able to touch the keys]
Hey, over here. Lend me a hand here, okay? I know this is not the best time to ask for something like this, but I really need to learn how to play classical music. Around ten seconds would be okay. How do I do that?
[He actually looks a bit rattled about everything that has happened, like this all is starting to wear him down. The fact he's working so hard -- and achieving so little, even if he's unaware of that fact -- can't help either]

It occurs to him, at some point, that Gant would usually be out here after these things, playing like literally nothing mattered; it follows after that that perhaps a more sentimental person who actually cared about Gant would do this in his memory, and that is about when his hands suddenly go still on the keys and something in his head just seems to click into place in a way that it hadn't before, and the whole thing is sort of like being hit by divine revelation from on high because he hadn't realized fully until just now what the purpose of the stupid after-trial gatherings are.]
Funerals. They're funerals.
[It's...muttered to himself more than addressed to the room, but that sure is out there, and it takes him a moment to shake his head and go back to playing.
He'll make his way to the dining hall eventually, though; he isn't eating or anything, but rather he seems to be writing some things down. He's got that...turret-thing he got out of the machine out with him again, and it seems to be faring a little better in the dining room than it was in the foyer before; even so, it seems to have decided that he's an acceptable person when he isn't picking it up and taking it places, and as such it's spending a fair amount of time just sort of hanging out near his legs.
Perhaps he'll seek some people out eventually, perhaps he won't; either way, he's here, and that has to count for something, surely.]
