[Well, that was one hell of a trial. Kogami’s tired and hungry. He’ll get his staple hamburgers, but maybe he’ll be nice enough to help make some for everyone.

So there’s a note that goes out:]

Food in the dining hall – K, P, Q, & R

[It’s quickly written and straightforward.

And indeed there is food. There’s a shitton of hamburgers made by Kogami and Rose, the sliced cheese prepared by Pizzaz, and cake by QQ. Pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and other such condiments are set out as well as an assortment of buns.

There’s not lighted candles this time, so it’s clear that the usual preparers didn’t help with this ‘buffet’. (Well, if it wasn’t clear with the note).

So rest, relax, and well, you’re probably going to have to get your own drinks this time, sorry…]

He's not even sure what exactly Kogami wants from him as his "master", but because he's pretty sure he can get away with doing so right now, he's still holding Kogami's hand as he turns it over to look at where he had put out his cigarette.]

[At this point, it's someone who points and tells him what to do. Because let's be real, that trial could have gone horribly if Kogami went violent on Gant. He was tempted, but he didn't. He can't promise it won't be the same in the future. He really can't.

Though the hand holding is new. It's not a bad thing though, especially since he can write it off as Danny inspecting the slight burn he made against himself.]

Considering the number of times you've been visiting me, I've started keeping a spare plate in the desk that you can use if you want.

[Which he takes out of the drawer to show Kogami; it's one of the smaller plates used for sitting cups of tea and coffee down on that he probably took from the kitchen at some point this week.]

That's rather considerate of you, especially since I probably shouldn't be smoking in here anyway.

[Yet here he is and he does just that. Like he's comfortable here and made himself at home. Geez, who's the master?]

I'd say there's other people who can keep you better company...

[He doesn't say anything, but there's an implied 'however, we seem to understand each other.' There's a lot of implications with the way they talk. Though some things are better unsaid and just interpreted.]
