Week 5.

WEEK 5 Another week has passed; another two people have died. Tsubasa Hanekawa and Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra have joined the ranks of the deceased. Whatever you may have thought about them in the end, one thing hovers heavy over the group: the fact that neither their compassion nor their ambition was enough to keep them alive in here. Is yours? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And of course, with another successful trial comes a new addition to the building, another corridor opening up on the west side of the building. The doors leading to it branch off of the hallways leading to the second and fourth sections of the building; have those doors always been there? You can't remember... It's a new week. Of course, that means you've been here for over a month, and your stay doesn't seem to be coming to a close yet. PATIENTS REMAINING: 22

A cash grab, really. He had apocalypse shelters built to sell to people with the fear of God in them. I thought it was ridiculous.

Apparently. What I'd like to know is why I would be in on it, or why people would be going into the shelters at all. It isn't as if there was chaos in the streets.

That is a good question, isn't it.

Although the only assumption to be made now is that there's something vital you aren't remembering, isn't there?

So it would seem. He and I haven't gotten along in decades. An ideology split, as it were.

And the world was stubbornly surviving, last I saw of it.

It has a tendency to do that, regardless of what world you originate from. I can tell you that much.

A memory of yours, then?

More like a general observation.

It makes sense. Life claws to continue, that's just what it does.

In some ways it's admirable. Either way, I'm not going to argue with surviving if only for its sake.

Surviving is the name of the game, isn't it? Almost literally, here.

Frustratingly so, when it comes to this place.

Either way, however, I do still intend to beat the game. It's just a matter of sorting through how I want that to be done, given that our options right now come down to a matter of patience or action.

They do seem to be giving mixed signals on whether the former will work.

Don't they just.

This farce could start making coherent sense at any time. Though they seem to be fans of the disjointed, so it works out for them.

Beyond that, it's to their benefit if we can't make sense of it any.

Kill to escape is the only thing they're consistent on, and even then, not on whether they want it or not. It makes sense in comparison, so someone will do it.
