WEEK 5
Another week has passed; another two people have died. Tsubasa Hanekawa and Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra have joined the ranks of the deceased. Whatever you may have thought about them in the end, one thing hovers heavy over the group: the fact that neither their compassion nor their ambition was enough to keep them alive in here.

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

And of course, with another successful trial comes a new addition to the building, another corridor opening up on the west side of the building. The doors leading to it branch off of the hallways leading to the second and fourth sections of the building; have those doors always been there? You can't remember...

It's a new week. Of course, that means you've been here for over a month, and your stay doesn't seem to be coming to a close yet.

[ Yesterday, QQ had a lot of feelings to sort through. Mostly regarding the dream she just remembered. While she knew he would survive from the stories, it left a bad taste in her mouth to leave him at the crumbling castle. Coupled with what's been happening lately, she needed some time to think alone and jot down a few notes in her room.

Today, however, QQ is off to explore the new area with her usual exuberance. ...Or at least she was until she saw the arcade. Guess who's spending a good chunk of the afternoon on dancing in DDR and puzzling over how Pac-Man is supposed to work? (Seriously, what are these machines for and how do they run?)

Later that evening though, she'll pull herself away from the arcade to go check out the workshop. After checking out what tools are there, she'll humming and rifling through everything for whittling tools and wood to bring to her room. Which, you know, isn't a hotbed for tetanus. ]

Ah, hello. Are you planning to build something?

Yes! Was thinking a Coda! Not sure if QQ can do it well though.

You can't mean the music term. Something from your world?

Sort of. Coda is a Muse--tiny mouse-like people who all really love to eat. Hide any food you do not mean to share!

Ah, and you're only making a replica?

Yes! Coda is cute and tiny, so good subject. Has Auntie done things like this before?

Wouldn't call it popular, but it's well-known! People use these often to decorate. And some make them into charms.

Ah. Yes, it's an art where I come from as well, though not quite so ubiquitous. Just be careful, this room isn't in the best condition.

Which is why QQ won't work on it here! But first have to grab tools and safety stuff. Was thinking of working on it in room for now. Might accidentally mess up someone's painting if done in art room.

That makes sense, at least. It definitely hampers investigation.

Sure does. QQ can try to investigate more later after preparing.

Preparing the room, like with the dojo?

Yup! Would make room easier to use. Should ask Asgore if he has any more tape. But only if there's none left in storage.

The storage does tend to restock just like everything else.

That's true. Not sure how they restock though. Since it's not like the kitchen.

You mean, not locked at night.

Right! It's weird. Why not lock it too if restock is needed?

Perhaps it simply isn't watched.

Sounds like it should be then? But it might be like what Greed said. He told Rin violating spirit of the rules could get us killed.

Of course, with the Risen's love of contradictions, the spirit of any rule is hard to say.

Also true... QQ's not good at playing with words, so hard to figure out.

The simple answer is "they want a winner to kill, the Transmitter isn't so sure," but the simple answer isn't always the right one.

It'd be nice if the answer was simple. Would make it easier to figure out countermeasures. But it doesn't work that way.

[ Seriously, what's the point of doing something this complicated? Can't be cheap to run. ]

Either way, figuring Risen out will probably be key to solving all this.
