Week 5.

WEEK 5

Another week has passed; another two people have died. Tsubasa Hanekawa and Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra have joined the ranks of the deceased. Whatever you may have thought about them in the end, one thing hovers heavy over the group: the fact that neither their compassion nor their ambition was enough to keep them alive in here.

Is yours?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

And of course, with another successful trial comes a new addition to the building, another corridor opening up on the west side of the building. The doors leading to it branch off of the hallways leading to the second and fourth sections of the building; have those doors always been there? You can't remember...

It's a new week. Of course, that means you've been here for over a month, and your stay doesn't seem to be coming to a close yet.

Who said the game had to be played with thirty people maximum?

[He gets what she's saying, but there's too many holes in it.]

They may not be in this building, for one. If they are, perhaps they're on an opposite end?

[Given the new areas opening up, maybe they'd connect. Either way, Kogami is not exactly the calmest about this, but he's definitely calming down.]

And if my theory is correct, then that worries me more.

The number matters; it should be much lower if they're playing the same game we are. [Hence why she said if Kogami's accurate it has to be old footage.] The Risen are only promising their safety for a few days, after all. The only murder that's happening in that room will be a free-for-all.

[By contrast Rin doesn't look worried at all. She, uh. Doesn't look anything.]

That's assuming they started the same time we did. There's too many loose ends here. It could be the Risen are saying they will start the game for them if we don't do something on our end.

Don't overthink it. Your imagination is probably more dangerous than what the Risen intend to do, which is the reaction they want to see.

I'm not. It's just one scenario I've thought of, and the most dangerous one.

[Aside from the fact that they're already dying/dead, but nope, not going to think of that.]

We should have a meeting later, and think instead of what scenario is most likely. [Rin's looking about the room.] It isn't good how many people are shaken up. We have to nip this in the bud as best we can.
