Week 5.

WEEK 5 Another week has passed; another two people have died. Tsubasa Hanekawa and Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra have joined the ranks of the deceased. Whatever you may have thought about them in the end, one thing hovers heavy over the group: the fact that neither their compassion nor their ambition was enough to keep them alive in here. Is yours? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And of course, with another successful trial comes a new addition to the building, another corridor opening up on the west side of the building. The doors leading to it branch off of the hallways leading to the second and fourth sections of the building; have those doors always been there? You can't remember... It's a new week. Of course, that means you've been here for over a month, and your stay doesn't seem to be coming to a close yet. PATIENTS REMAINING: 22

[Kogami loves vending machine day because it's the day he kind of just sticks in the general area to see if anyone got cigarettes. Granted, he's good until next Wednesday if he smokes at his regular habit, so it's not bad. It's just nice to have a surplus.

So he's watching Sakura and her haul.]

Did you get anything good?

[Bless her. She could have probably had him at her beck and call if she chose to, but instead, she's being kind.

I don't think my body could handle it.

I can barely take most modern medicine, so I can't see cigarettes being any better.

They're not exactly smoked to cure you of anything.

[Kogami, friend. She weighs like two pounds off a buck when wet. That pat on the back makes her stagger]

[Just gonna dig through her trash a bit longer. After a beat, she sorts out the weapons to the "keep" pile. A trident and a machete]

I don't suppose you need either of these...

[Listen, his forceful pats on the back are signs of friendship with him.

I already have those two. At the very least keep the machete for self-defense. I'll keep the trident if you don't want to have it on you.

Well, I don't know how to use a trident, really.

[A pause]

... Or a machete. [Said with a sigh as she picks it up, testing the weight. It's heavier than expected, though she can hold it without fatiguing]

Would I just swing it...?

In the event you'd need to use it for self-defense, yes, just swing it. It's better to have something on you than nothing.

[At this point in the game, it probably wouldn't be too much if they just all carried weapons openly. Especially after that motive.]

[Sakura would agree with that bracket thought. However, after giving the weapon a few delicate swings, she puts it down]

Mmm. I think it'd be easier to stick with the taser Tohsaka-senpai gave me...

Do you know how to use it?

Then do you know how to use it in case you needed to?

That is the basics of it, however, it's more difficult than that.

However, you may be fine since you are adept with projectile weapons.

Yes, that's why I'm hoping I'll have more luck with it than these.

Tohsaka-senpai also told me it's low amp but high voltage, so it shouldn't actually kill anyone.

No, it won't kill. Hurts like a bitch and paralyzes momentarily, but it won't kill.

Listen, I've taken electromagnetic waves to a spine and ended up hospitalized. I was able to take a taser and stand back up immediately.

[Someone had to teach Tohsaka how to use it, okay? So stop giving him that look?]

I wasn't anything I couldn't handle. Besides, I was curious about how they worked. What better way than to be a test dummy?
