Week 5.

WEEK 5 Another week has passed; another two people have died. Tsubasa Hanekawa and Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra have joined the ranks of the deceased. Whatever you may have thought about them in the end, one thing hovers heavy over the group: the fact that neither their compassion nor their ambition was enough to keep them alive in here. Is yours? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And of course, with another successful trial comes a new addition to the building, another corridor opening up on the west side of the building. The doors leading to it branch off of the hallways leading to the second and fourth sections of the building; have those doors always been there? You can't remember... It's a new week. Of course, that means you've been here for over a month, and your stay doesn't seem to be coming to a close yet. PATIENTS REMAINING: 22

Yes, that occupation listing is correct. [He doesn't know if he would call himself that exactly, but...whatever.] I am a member through a contract with the organization's leader. A variety of tasks are carried out within the Guild, but generally it is whatever the leader wants us to do, really... At the time of my abduction, we had traveled to Japan to secure some property there.

[Among other things, if his dreams have been any indication. It all sounds very ambiguous. But Lovecraft doesn't seem to be the sort to ask for the finer details.]

[That's fairly vague. Securing property might suggest a business of some sort at least?]

That sounds somewhat disorganized, but most contract workers generally aren't privy to most of the detailed inner workings of an organization to begin with. Still, to have a direct connection with the leader... is he another friend?

[The Guild is genuinely a clusterfuck, but a business is a good place to start with defining it.]

No.

[He's decidedly firm on that, at least.]

He personally sought me out for a contract. It is a very tedious one, but... [He sighs.] I couldn't refuse. That is all.

It almost seems like he used some unscrupulous means if he could force you into something like that.

[It sounds like blackmail to him, to be honest.]

[Huh. He wouldn't have really thought of it like that, but...]

You can call it whatever you want. It doesn't matter in the end... I'll get back home eventually, once I can fulfill the contract.

[Of course, that requires leaving this place first.]
