Oh, some say, in life, you're gonna get what you give - but some things only God can forgive
[ It's quiet in the hospital after this trial. Time passes and there are no notes slipped under doors.
The eerie silence reflects the horrors that have been witnessed today. More than any other week, there is a lingering understanding that there are thing regrouping and cooperation will never be able to fix.
There are 7 dead to mourn. No amount of funeral will bring them back.
The rules George has posted to the kitchen at the start of the week have been kicked over. ]
((ooc: This is not a week for any amount of partying, no matter how little, so here is the after-moping. Tell us where your character mopes, group together to mope together, etc...))

[He doesn't mean anything bad by the statement and seems a bit pained when he says it, but it may come across as a bit harsh.]
Despite outliving your friends, you do not regret making those ties...?

In turn...you are unaccustomed to being alone. I think I can understand the desire if...that is all you've known.
[They seem to be opposites on this scale.]

Has it been difficult, to be trapped in such close quarters with others?

[He hated it, is what he's trying to say.]
But it got easier, over time. I found someone who had similar struggles with crowds and social settings, and that helped. From there...I eventually grew accustomed to speaking with you all.
[...he doesn't say anything about how quiet it has gotten.]

[His agreement is kind of halfhearted, because. Well. Dealing with emotions is still an experience. Still...like Asgore said, for good or ill. There was definitely good involved, and that's big.]
Do you include yourself in that...?

And yet, before I never would have thought to leave, and now I am talking about traveling worlds with the others, if we can. I know that I cannot return to things as they were. [.....] What will you do, if you can return?

[As for Asgore's question... Lovecraft seems to droop a little bit and bury himself further in the blanket.]
I will...sleep. After I make sure that my partner is all right.
[His tone is reluctant, like he may have been considering other things to do after this game at one point.]

[That tone doesn't go entirely unnoticed, but he's willing to let it pass for the moment.]

[Which is why he wants to make sure Steinbeck is okay.]

[The name John Steinbeck means nothing to Asgore!]
Is he a human, or like you?
no subject
Human. [...] There is nothing else like me in my world.

No? I never minded the solitude... I preferred it, even.

[Was.
Sometime soon he'll come around and say it was worth it, and deep down he knows it was. But right now...it feels so raw, having had to say goodbye to a friend. He knew it'd have to happen with Steinbeck someday, but it was far too soon with Sakura and Rin. Like the blink of an eye.]

[There are many things Asgore could say - things he's said to Lovecraft before. About how having loved and lost was still better than having never loved, and how he wouldn't give up a second of either of his children's lives, though their deaths brought him such unending pain. But talking about Sakura right now is something he cannot bring himself to do either.]
