WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

It's worth looking around. There's bound to be something around here that's suspicious. I don't believe it's possible to bring so many people to one location without any trace of how.

I think something already changed where I'm from. [She moves around the Mack and Brady cards, then starts arranging other cards under them.] I just don't know how far it goes or what it was.

[Because apparently one dragon holds a grudge and his people keep baiting him on. Go figure.]

I suppose that I could be called that; my main concern is keeping the people safe from any potential attacks but I also try to aim with what the needs of the city are.

[And not to mention keeping High Houses in line. But...he's mainly military involved? Right?]

[ He can manage a few hours. Probably. He makes a few mistakes here and there, naturally, but after a while he becomes more confident and quickens the speed little by little. ]

It shouldn't be hard to grasp the basics of Go. If this is your choice then please sit down, Cilan-kun.

[-kun, huh. Naoto noticed the change in honorific after she said it. Looks like she's starting to get comfortable with Cilan around]

I guess you have a point there. Not that magic in that game has many rules to keep in mind. Usually the players imagine the most outlandish scenarios and respond with even more outlandish magic solutions.

[Naoto frowns. That kind of sounded like an insinuation Naoto would kill! She decides to instead take it as a warning out of concern, instead of McKenzie deciding this detective is going to kill for that motive]

You're right about that. This motive could practically create an alternate timeline, so to say. With some luck everyone will be aware the changes won't always bring beneficial results.

Originally I was swinging on by for something before bed. Was thinking... tuna or grilled cheese. So, whatever one of the two if you want.

[Naoto didn't expect a voice. These rooms, weren't they supposed to be soundproof?! Only when she sees Inigo she realizes she didn't close the door all the way. Way to go, Naoto, you just embarrassed yourself]

Inigo-san! D-Don't call me "my lady", please!

[There. She went from embarrassed to mildly upset. It's her way of overcoming the shame, don't think much about it, dear Inigo! She also seems to be attempting to dodge the question, smooth]

Of course not~! With how well the last one went, and how obvious we are in need of a distraction considering... many things, and certainly now with that announcement we received, I thought it was high time we allowed our musicians the chance to shine as brilliant as they can.

[... He's gonna have to move some instruments into the foyer himself, but honestly that's not too many. No pianos will be moved after all. Just the manageable ones.]

Anyone's allowed to sign up, of course, if they'd like to play. I have a feeling there's very much a goldmine of talent within these walls.

I think there's a lot of people who wouldn't care too much about that. [casually glances at Terumi] But I hope it at least gives people second thoughts.

[Cilan glances at the table, and then back at her as he huffs out a laugh, setting down some of the stuff he had been picking up here.]

Indeed: they say the only way to confirm the flavor of something is by actually tasting it.

[But he's offering a hand here now, to help Jean up if she would like to attempt to climb up onto and stand on the table here.]

...So like. There's these two gangs, surfers and bikers. Uh, surfing is where you ride the ocean waves on a board, and by bikes I mean, motorcycles. These things you ride really fast on land. They hate each other 'cause the other's different, but they both wanna hang out at this one beach and this one food shack, Big Momma's. Things get complicated when the leader of the surfers, Tanner, and biker's leader's sister, Lela, fall in love, and try to unite the two so they can stop this evil realtor- a guy who buys and sells land - from taking over the beach. It's a big musical with song and dance.

It was...weird. Not the plot [liar] but like, it had the same setting and characters as a movie I knew from back home? But everything else was different, from the plot to how the characters acted.

[And not the fact that of all the people who like music here, Ferid would definitely have hella fancy script. He plays the cello before him, humming lightly in approval.]
