Final Investigation.
That countdown in the media room has been running continuously since the Risen's announcement. It's ominous; there's no way that it isn't weighing on people's minds, especially given that the announcement itself was so vague – threatening, surely, but vague. That, combined with all the strangeness that's been happening in the hospital lately, has led to an uneasy week. Thursday arrives. Everyone still alive awakens. Nothing seems to have happened. Exploring the building will at least indicate that no one has died during the night; there are no bodies to be found. However, there is something that you haven't seen all week, just to the north of Section 3 and the dorms. Another corridor has opened up. It leads north for a short while before making a sharp turn east; the eastern hallway ends in a door that seems to be locked. The lock itself is different from the others you've seen here – it's electronic, and it looks like it takes a card key to open. Beyond that door...well, it's both similar to what's happened in previous weeks, and yet the content of the rooms themselves is decidedly not. There's really only one thing to do here when presented with an opportunity like this,, isn't there? Explore? |
