WEEK 7 In a surprise twist, no one died this week. Well, unless you count Chitoge Kirisaki, who returned to the land of the living only to die the same day. Maybe you all are onto something. Or maybe you were just lucky. On Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, and while there are no bodies to find today, you might not have had a very good night's sleep anyway. It seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost again, even though no one was murdered this past week. Surprisingly, a new set of doors hasn't opened up anywhere. You can search the entire facility if you'd like, but you won't find any new rooms or hallways. It looks as though you didn't earn anything new. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 17

[ His heart's practically pounding in excitement-- Terumi always knew how to make battles exciting.

Welp, that's always a good thing, right? ]

Yeah? Well, if they do, I'll definitely insist that there's no way you would. You could even come and get me yourself if I'm not around when someone's throwing accusations.

[ When he's done, he'll face Terumi with a smirk, swinging the sword just once. ]

Ready?

Keheheheh. They can shout all they want, I kind of miss it without the shitty vampire and Raggy telling me to go to hell all the time. [ ...the truth, actually.

He takes one moment to fold the knife into the palm of his right hand, and leans forward just a bit.]

Just do you know, I usually have two of these. But I don't think it will matter~.

Come at me!

How come I'm not surprised?

[ Then Yuri will come first towards Terumi at his beckoning, swinging his the blade in a wide arc, starting from the bottom up in a quick, horizontal slash since he doesn't need to really hold back with the guy. ]

Let's see if you handle me now!

[hentopan]

Why settle for one? [ Well Terumi isn't the type to really block, and it would be silly to try to parry a sword with a butterfly knife (or two). It really does put him at a solid disadvantage without Ouroboros to at least match the range of the sword, but he really doesn't care right now.

At the least he can read the attack decently enough, and he moves to go under it as best as he can, even if it means he's getting nicked in the process-- in this case his shoulder. In turn he retaliates with a flurry of slashes, not really focused on a particular area or direction. The attacks are rapid, like numerous jabs from a boxer.]

[ It's been awhile since Yuri's really had an advantage in battle -- he's used to working from the other way around honestly. ]

Sure you're not just hiding another to try to surprise me?

[ Yuri moves to try to counter right after, not exactly wanting to get hit by every slash attempt the guy made. Although, now his clothes probably had a bit more tears in them because he's not lucky enough to avoid all of them... and okay next week maybe he's gonna want to ask someone who knows how to make clothes because he may need them at this rate.

Also, for irony's sake, Yuri managed to get slashed along his right arm again. Thanks, Terumi.

That said, Yuri will try to see if he can get the guy to back away by making a move to intercept him during the barrage by just swinging his blade across, aimed somewhere near the guy's arm -- particularly the one holding the butterfly knife. ]

You know me so well, Yuri~. [ That sure will hit and leave a nice clean cut. He'd be more pissed if it didn't give him the opportunity to pull the other butterfly knife from his pocket, unfold it and slide it into left hand.

It's kind of a compliment in a way, because Yuri's worth using both his knives. Like before he runs at the dark haired male, except this time his slice and dice attack is more intricate. There's no indication that using the second knife has slowed him down any, in fact he seems faster. This is his element and his preferred weapons, after all.]

We spent enough time together, it's only natural, right?

[ Good grief, who banters like this during battle -- oh wait, they do.

Yuri will try to avoid the onslaught of slices being made at his person (although judging by the small cut along his fore-arm nothing goes as planned). One of the knives probably comes into contact with the golden brace-let along his left wrist, although likely inadvertently when Yuri's using the blade in his left hand to block at one particular slash rather than dodge again.

Then, he'll attempt to make another horizontal swing shortly after, aimed straight at him (specifically somewhere along the chest area), going from the top to bottom as opposed to earlier's. ]

[If he could laugh now, he would. But they're in a middle of a fight and even he isn't that reckless, though he does grin wide in response.]

That mean you gonna want to cook dinner for me again?

[ Terumi's more in his element now, and everything feels natural-- besides the fact that he's missing Ouroboros. That's something he's adapted to before though, and this time he's not content to just take the attack and he does block-- with the metal gauntlet on his arm. It's not the smoothest block (normally he'd just use his Ars Magus), but it does the job well enough. With his arms occupied he can't really slash, but he can try to make a low sweeping kick to knock Yuri off balance.]
