Week 1

WEEK 1

Unfortunately (or fortunately, for those of you who decided he ranks at an 8 or higher) the Adjudicator has made an appearance and he doesn't seem to be lying about anything that's happening here. There's no way out. It seems like you're stuck here for the time being and the rules the Adjudicator told you about are still hanging in every room. While the Adjudicator himself is around, you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Competitors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge.

You'll notice that the clock in the foyer goes off periodically, however. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in; it seems it's being piped in over that PA system in the walls. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

COMPETITORS REMAINING: 30

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]
greenmamabear: (You're not sure what with eye glints)

Music room

[Fern wasn't in the highest of spirits to do much but thank Cilan for the meal, but she's much more conversational by the time she finds him in the music room.]

Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting you to leave the kitchen.
cilantro: (my burgundy senses are tingling...)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-05 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Neither did I, honestly speaking. But apparently quite a few people were... concerned and insisted that I should take a break for a little while.

[Which, he can't help but sound surprised by because really, he can't remember the last time anyone said that to him that wasn't his brothers, maybe.]
greenmamabear: (Fern no)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-05 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, cooking nonstop can't be healthy...

[Because really kid.]
cilantro: (this is just a little bit awkward)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-06 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
[It probably isn't healthy, but...]

Well, I can't say that it's not something I'm used to: after all, some of the dinner rushes I've had to work at our restaurant can have quite a brutal flavor, depending on just how many customers there might be and what their preferences might be any given evening.
greenmamabear: (Color me surprised)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-06 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
So you work in a restaurant? [Dang, a cook at 17. That's impressive as all hell.]
cilantro: (this reminds me of a puzzle)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-06 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, that's right: my brothers and I own and manage one of the most popular restaurants in the Unova region, which is also home to Striaton City's gym, giving it a unique flavor that makes it stand out in comparison to the rest.
greenmamabear: (You're getting some nice praise)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-06 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[Well I'll be darned.]

That's pretty impressive, all things considered. How old are your brothers?
cilantro: (truly enlightening)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-07 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Chili and Cress are the same age as me, actually: the three of us as triplets, as it were.

[... Well, fraternal triplets to be more exact as Chili has red hair and Cress has blue, but they still look pretty similar to one another!]
greenmamabear: (Puzzled shade of green)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-07 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[You crazy kids and your thematic gym situations.]

Running a whole restaurant by yourselves? That takes some dedication.
cilantro: (apples: it's what's for dinner)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-07 08:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed: I'm quite grateful that my brothers and I had one another to help each other, really, as I doubt that we would have been able to do so if the three of us had not worked together in order to accomplish our goals here.

[Which... honestly makes it feel kind of strange now, not having them here with him at the moment. (Although, considering the circumstances, he's quite glad that they're not here right now...)]
greenmamabear: (Finally something nice and not scary)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-08 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
I've known lots of people who can't stand their siblings. Good to hear you guys work so well together.
cilantro: (no one understands us except pansage)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-08 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[Cilan nods in agreement to that, before his smile then falls a little, now one of concern.]

I'm glad that they don't have to contend with the same situation that we're currently in, but... I do hope that they are alright...
greenmamabear: (You are experiencing a day)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-08 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
[Ooof.]

Small mercies, I guess.
cilantro: (my burgundy senses are tingling...)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-08 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah... [And then he's right back to smiling a little more, trying for a light-hearted tone again.] I suppose at the very least, this will make for an interesting story to tell them once we're able to find a way to return back home?

[Provided that nothing terrible happens that would make this a story not good to share with them, that is.]
greenmamabear: (Get by with some bacteria friends)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-08 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[Nothing terrible ever happens in murdergames.]

Its certainly more interesting than regular small talk.
cilantro: (tea time is always a good time)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-08 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
[Of course not, that would be ridiculous.]

It certainly is... I can only imagine what everyone's reaction will be when I tell them about this unbelievable taste in circumstances...
greenmamabear: (You're getting some nice praise)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-08 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, at least you're getting a lot of practice?

[With a crowd of potentially murdered customers.]
cilantro: (this is just a little bit awkward)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-09 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
[In that case we'll just have to cook even more to deter people from committing murder and missing out on our food. :|b]

Oh, certainly: it's quite an unexpected way to advertise our skills, but it's an appreciated chance to do so nonetheless.
greenmamabear: (Haha get wrecked embalming machine)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2016-07-10 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe you'll have stuff to teach them by the time we're out of here.
cilantro: (this reminds me of a puzzle)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-10 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
Well, there are quite a few of us here that come from different places and are used to preparing meals with a vastly different flavor than what I'm used to... it would be wonderful if I could learn all of them and replicate the taste of those dishes once I returned home!
