Week 8.

WEEK 8 Despite the week of peace - or in some cases, because of it - it seems that the stream of deaths is going to continue unabated; if anything, there's been a sharp uptick this week. Yuri Lowell, Angel Hyperion, Naoto Shirogane, Aymeric de Borel, Isaac McDougal, and Ferid Bathory have all joined the deceased. In one week, you've dropped from over half your original number being alive, to almost two-thirds being dead. But surely things can only go up from here on out, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Another set of doors has opened up, once again branching off of the eastern corridor and leading toward the south. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've definitely earned it this week. [While Jean is sweeping the halls, she will probably see Luca at least a few times. He seems to be busy cleaning. Cleaning what, you say? Everything.

But this time he is taking a short break, so when he sees Jean he will give her an overly-cheerful greeting.]

Ah, good morning.

[Her tone is puzzled, but still polite and friendly.]

You've been as busy as a bee this morning, haven't you? Are you looking for something, too?

Oh no, I just could not stand the mess. I, ah. I like things to be neat and orderly.

[More like he likes working hard to take his mind off of things he is avoiding.]

Is it that disorderly around here? I thought it was shockingly tidy, considering the people here.

[And also, you know. The murders. Who cleans those up, anyway?]

Ah, well...I suppose I just see messes in places most people do not.

Well, that's not a bad thing. With you working so hard, we'll never see a mess around here again.

... by the way. Do you remember those keys that were mentioned during last week's meeting? The one in the paint can, and the one in the bag of blood.

[Found by a victim and the culprit, respectively.]

While you've been cleaning up, have you seen anything else that matches that sort of description? You know... a small vessel with a fluid in it. I'm thinking that if there's two, there might be more.

[...maybe if the mun had specified that he had been looking closely during his cleaning he might have, but for now, he just shakes his head.]

I have not. I did not even think to look for more, beyond those two. Have you found locked doors?

No, but... well, if there's two, there's bound to be more, right? They could all be important.

[Unless they're duplicates of the same key, but this possibility hasn't occurred to Jean yet.]
