Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

...Possibly, though it may be best to let it run its course naturally until the time comes that we can leave this place. Perhaps then I'll have a better idea of what's been done in the first place.

[He has just enough common sense to know that he probably doesn't want to screw with that until he can kind of look at the Transmitter, point at Wheatley and go "okay but what the hell, though."]

That prattling she was doing at the meeting. She derailed the entire discussion with buttocks. Nice girl, but certainly out of it.

...I have a tendency to tune her out after a while, if we're going to be blunt. It makes the prattling far more tolerable if you elect to ignore it.

Perhaps. But it's always the times you're not listening when something important crops up. Look at how much of a farce parts of that trial were.

Still displeased with it, then, I take it.

Well that was... something. Less disorienting than last week, thankfully, but it's still something to think about. Krauser's up early as usual and you can catch him in room #3 working on notes for a bit before the morning alarm goes off.

Once it does he goes to check out the new rooms and while the dojo seems to hold his interest for a little bit (he'll actually check out the mats and stuff in here as opposed to just poking his head in the room and leaving), it's the shooting range that actually gets a reaction out of him.

He almost looks pleased as he's going through the equipment and as he's setting up a target for practice, but the expression's subdued even when he takes his first shot with a standard bow and arrow. It's been awhile, but his aim is remarkably good anyway.

Krauser will be in the shooting range for most of the day, just practicing his archery. You're welcome to interrupt at any point; he won't mind the company.]

Wouldn't anyone be? Though I'm glad the group finally hit on something. I do wonder. Revenge keeps cropping up, but it's too early to establish a pattern.

[Krauser's not surprised to find Wesker in here and he's not surprised to find him wielding a crossbow. He'll wait until Wesker's taking a moment to reload before speaking up.]

They're going to have to change tactics eventually - vengeance doesn't work on me as far as temptation goes, nor does it appeal to several others here. I'm sure we can continue this way for a good long while, of course. But eventually that well will run dry.

I know some people that are fond of them, but I've never really had any interest in it personally.

Oh, I'm sure I'll remember something that will change my mind eventually. But for the time being I'm willing to make an amendment.

You have every reason to be. If you're this good now, you'll be a perfect shot once you're used to the crossbow.

[He'll actually head on over to check out the regular bows, since those are more his style.]

Hello, Gant... you seem to be enjoying yourself. Kogami will just dive into the pool as well and float for now. Later maybe they can race or talk or talk of Hyper-Oats.]

[He'll select one and give it a test pull before nodding slightly.]

Another one of those things I did instead of hobbies.

[Kogami isn't alone in the shooting range. A girl with purple hair has been there for hours (not that he'd know this), a stream of arrows cocked back before she lets them fly, one by one. They all hit the bullseye or close to it.

Her awareness leaves much to be desired, however. At no point does she glance around her surroundings. If she pauses, it's only to breathe heavily and wipe a sheen of sweat from her forehead, because archery is more work than people give it credit]

At least you were dedicating your time to something useful. Though I suppose that defeats the point that everyone was trying to make regarding hobbies in the first place.

Exactly. Apparently archery was "good enough" because they stopped trying after I picked it up.

When Danny steps out on Sunday, he appears to be in a better mood than he was last week. He investigates the new areas, in particular finding himself at the shooting range as he looks over what's available here. He's not into archery, but he does pick up a bullet to examine.]

Ammunition, but no guns... hmm...

[Afterward, he goes back to the art room to draw again. It proved to be a relaxing activity last week so why not spend more time in here while he can? Plus, it helps sort out his thoughts in regards to those peculiar dreams we've been having here lately...]
