trustfelled | Week 3.

WEEK 3
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

There's a part missing, but I suppose if anyone might be able to find a replacement for it, it would be someone familiar with guns.

... We would have to do some convincing with Sakura in order to attempt that, though: she insisted on keeping it so as to prevent it from being repaired and ending up in the wrong hands.

I might be able to fix it.

[He's not sure. He gets the feeling he can if given the right parts. Still, that may be a terrifying thought to some.]

[Well... Kogami's certainly still not used to people caring about his well-being. Maybe it's just a doctor's job, but there's no doubt it makes him happy. His lips are definitely curling up in a bit of a small smile there as much as he's trying to show a neutral expression.]

Yeah, I did. I think the tea and taking some of those medicines helped.

[And being used to the feeling now and what to expect is helping, too.]

That's good to hear. I would be concerned otherwise if you hadn't.

What about your supply of cigarettes here?

I'm out of cigarettes, but I'm going to try the vending machine again soon.

Are you going to be alright until then? Though, I suppose there is a room now where you might be able to do some proper exercises here, isn't there?

There's the dojo, but also the swimming pool is nice. I can get out some of my extra energy there.

[Thank the heavens. He'd much prefer a punching bag, but this is a step up from having absolutely nothing.]

Oh, does this mean that some of us are going to get the privilege of seeing you without your shirt on again?

It's a little difficult to swim with a shirt on. Also, I prefer to work out shirtless, so it will happen. Though usually people get flustered and displeased about it.

Really? Did someone actually complain about that when you were doing laundry last week?

No, but I'm certain there's an amount of decency people would want me to show around here. It's why I stayed hidden in the laundry room while waiting for my clothes to dry.

You realize that's purely subjective, right?

For some people, but last I checked, my status as a doctor means that all of my "subjective" opinions are almost actually proven to be fact.

And if I said that there might be? I'm surprised you don't know about the mathematical equation where you multiply certain facets of a person's looks with their personality to get the formula that determine's one's attractiveness?

And we both know that's bullshit.

I look into personality more when it comes to how attractive others are.

Really? Then tell me, what kind of personalities do you consider attractive in a person?

Sincere, kind, and caring, I suppose. Passionate about what they do. I guess there's also the compatibility aspect.
