Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

It's almost as if you don't even need to keep me around anymore. Am I really that predictable?

But yes, you're right; I have a fondness for characters of all shapes and sizes. Heroes and villains, protagonists and antagonists, morally grey characters, characters dedicated to their causes, characters who find a new cause, objective narrators, unreliable narrators...even flat characters can be engaging, when taken as part of a whole.
nachetanya: (GET IT CARROTS)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
On the contrary, I can only say that with confidence because I love having you around so much.

[ Her smirk may as well be a wink, honestly. ]

I was planning to write you a story.
halleberry: (scoop)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
...Eh? It had looked like you were writing one a story, but...you're writing one for me?

[ It's rare that she lets this much surprise show on her face, but she can't help herself; she looks incredibly touched, as if no one's ever gone so far as to do something like that before.

Which is obviously the case, of course; who would do such a thing for her to begin with? ]
nachetanya: (Ragnarok)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
Yes.

You've been denied a book thus far, so if I wrote something, even if you only took an hour to read it, you would have something.

[ So. ]
halleberry: (nostromo)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
It wouldn't just be something...that's an honor, truly. It may take you a while to get it done, but, I'd be happy to help you write it, if you need to. And I would most certainly take my time in reading it...

[ She sounds almost overwhelmed by all of this. Her face even manages to go flush... ]

I...don't know what to say. That's...I'm very, very grateful, and...

[ She has to clear her throat, here. ]

Excuse me. But, thank you. I'll need to return the favor.
nachetanya: (Ocarina of Time)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Mmmm... I'm not sure that you need to think of it in terms of "returning the favor," Tsubasa.

[ She tilts her head to the side and reaches her arm out up towards the other girl. She had set down the notepad and the pen earlier to talk with her. She goes to get her hand around the other's cheek, as best she can leaning up from the chair. ]

After all, I wanted to see you make an expression like that.
halleberry: (a house for mister biswas)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
...Ah. If your goal was to get me flustered, it may have worked, but...

[ Christ, Nachetanya, if you think flattering her gives you a free pass to double down on the PDA, it...

Well, she's not rejecting it, at least, though her cheeks are still dyed a twinge of red. She doesn't move away from her hand, but she at least collects herself and recovers, trying to regain that bit of composure she lost from being so flummoxed. ]

You really do keep finding ways to impress me, I can at least say that with certainty.
nachetanya: (Ragnarok)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
[ She laughs, and then looks back down at the notepad. She's not made a lot of progress yet, but... well, she takes her hand back to herself and pulls back down to it. She- ]

I'll finish this by tomorrow night. It won't be a long story, but it will be something to read, right?
halleberry: (the wings of the dove)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps if you do that, you'll give me inspiration to add onto it. It could turn into a collaborative effort, of sorts. But you don't have to push yourself to finish a story in two days. You should take your time with it.
nachetanya: (Civil War)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
I could... but to me, it seems that in our uncertain position, it's better to finish something, even if it's small.

[ Maybe that's just her, though. ]
halleberry: (ragtime)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
Now you're just being morbid. I'd rather read something polished and from the heart than something that's been rushed for time, out of uncertainty that you'll get to write the ending.

...All the more incentive for you to make sure you stick around to finish it.
nachetanya: (Re:Coded)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Mmm... I don't disagree, but I think I'd rather write you a dozen stories in that time.
halleberry: (tender is the night)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
Don't get ahead of yourself, here. The thought is appreciated, but you haven't even finished one yet.

[ She taps on the notebook with her finger... ]
nachetanya: (Whispers of the Old Gods)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
[ Alright, alright, she deserves that. But she grins and points at the other with a pen ]

I think I might change the genre, finish it quicker. You'll want to kiss me by the end of this!
halleberry: (a house for mister biswas)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
What, you're going to turn it into a love story? I can't help but feel like a love story written by you would be very...

[ Well, it'd spare no details, that's for sure. ]
nachetanya: (Who Bore a Moonflower)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
Exciting?

[ She was tempted to wait to see what Tsubasa trailed off in, but she couldn't help herself. ]
halleberry: (the old wives tale)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
Unrestrained, was the word I was looking for.
nachetanya: (Karl Marx???)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
Does that mean you wouldn't read it?
halleberry: (catch-22)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Naturally, I would read every word, diligently, and scrutinize you over your word choice on an incessant basis. What do you take me for?
nachetanya: (One Night in Karazahn)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
Well then, I'll write a romance and you can tell me what genre the next one should be!
halleberry: (the catcher in the rye)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
Consider it a deal. I look forward to reading it, provided you take your time. Don't rush for my sake.
nachetanya: (GET IT CARROTS)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
Tsubasa, when have I broken a promise to you?
halleberry: (point counter point)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure if I wrack my brain, I can think of something. I try not to hold grudges, after all.
nachetanya: (Ragnarok)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
You have yet to resent me for anything.
halleberry: (the wings of the dove)

[personal profile] halleberry 2017-06-20 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Don't make me start over something as petty as rushed prose.

[ Though, it's pretty obvious that's a joke... ]
