Trustfell 5: A Good Day to Trust Fall ([personal profile] trustfellowship) wrote in [community profile] trustfelled2017-06-18 11:56 am

Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

Ah, was there? I'm not sure there was ever a time line that in Piena, so it might be a cultural difference.

[ A little nod though. ]
crywiththesaints: Looking informal and friendly (awakes me to this stillness)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
It does depend on the sort of person, of course. Either way, as a result, there's a lot that I've learned over the years. Do you play?
nachetanya: (Awakening)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
No, not really.

[ Hence her surprise ]

It was never considered to be am important part of my childhood or training.
crywiththesaints: Impressed (still like a doll)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
Well, not every country expects their princess to just look pretty and marry someone whose relatives they don't hate. Yours has given you enough duty.
nachetanya: (and the Wayfarer's Lamentation)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
Mmm. Honestly, if my older brother had lives, or if the Jewel of Prophecy hadn't cracked when I was eight, or various other circumstances didn't happen [ like the Civil War. ] it's entirely possible that would have been my expectations. But I have been named "Augustra" so... you're right, I have been given a great deal of duty.
crywiththesaints: Mulling something over (now arise)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
So your family's duty has all passed to you.
nachetanya: (Who Bore a Moonflower)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
The only ones left are myself and my father. He's still king, but he's something of a puppet now.
crywiththesaints: Smirking (face the dark you despise)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Politics can be complicated, can't they? I'm sure that's what Suzaki thinks of me. It's certainly how I think of him.
nachetanya: (One Night in Karazahn)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Suzaki? [ With a mildly curious voice ]
crywiththesaints: Impressed (still like a doll)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
An associate of mine. We were close once, when I was young and extremely foolish, but we have different goals. He's effective, but ruthless, and if this week's dream is any indication, he wouldn't hesitate to harm a child if it would take me down a peg.
nachetanya: (Journey to Un'Goro)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
Would you be willing to clarify further? I realized I don't know much about you, Ms. Kashima.
crywiththesaints: Critical look (and the past that it leaves)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
I don't see why not. I've taken in a ward from the home we run for children with disabilities, and have entrusted an employee who defected from a rival group with her care. Suzaki wants to discredit me because the two of us have different visions for Martel, and there's nothing he won't do for a goal.

What I recalled this past night in one of those dreams was receiving an anonymous note that Suzaki had ordered a group of his loyalists to kidnap the girl and blame her caretaker. Because the caretaker once belonged to Guardian, [you know, the first thing under Sakura's dislikes] the idea was that she'd look disloyal, and I would look foolish.
nachetanya: (Ragnarok)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
I'd received some information on the Martel Group before now... but why is it that it's called that?
crywiththesaints: Impressed (still like a doll)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Martel? It means "hammer" in Old French. The Magna Martel Group works as a tool to rebuild the damaged planet and carry out its will.
nachetanya: (hbomberguy)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Damaged... Is that simply a matter of the spirits you had been talking about the other day?
crywiththesaints: "Perish." (that's crumbling apart)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
Nothing so magical as that. It's industrialization. Pollution, overdevelopment, clearcutting, and climate change. Any post-industrial society will deal with these problems, mundane included.
nachetanya: (The Burning Crusade)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
I don't actually know what any of that is, honestly.

[ She... feels a little dense, but oh well. ]
crywiththesaints: Opening a door (Default)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Your world sounds earlier on, so it's no wonder. Of course, society back then had its own problems, but killing the planet wasn't one of them.
nachetanya: (Ragnarok)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
If anything, that might be more the domain of the Evil God.

[ She says, a little sheepishly. ... Earlier on, huh ]

Do all worlds develop the same way?
crywiththesaints: Turning around (this coffin that holds me tight)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Other worlds look very similar to mine, from what I've gathered in here. Of course, they all have obvious differences.
nachetanya: (GET IT CARROTS)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
Oh...? Like whose?
crywiththesaints: Impressed (still like a doll)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Tousaka has some ideas about magic and how it works that seem similar to Greed's alchemy, but different at the same time. And of course, where I come from, all we have are old stories.
nachetanya: (Who Bore a Moonflower)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, I meant more the similarities! I can't say any of them have sounded too similar to mine, other than that they have humans on them!
crywiththesaints: Judging (don't fear the shadows)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-20 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, most have fairly similar technology. Cars, computers -- of course, this place has them too, but the overall consensus among the captives is that those ones are archaic, and they don't work besides.
nachetanya: (Beyond the Dark Portal)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-20 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[ She nods ]

And the "texting" thing.
