Week 3.
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. |

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

[I mean that's more or less exactly what he said, but putting words to it is nice.]

Nearly any question about our situation, really. There are ways that this can end, aside from...Rule Seven...but she could not give me any more details about them. Nor about what their end goal is.
no subject
I didn't ask her that one, but I indirectly asked the Risen. They said they're not sharing.
no subject
She also told me that they did not choose us for this. They received us, from someone else. Only the number was predetermined.

There's someone in charge above the Risen...?

[Rin frowns, but shakes her head. She should clarify.]
When I spoke to the Risen, they said "they haven't had this much fun in a long time". They confirmed when I asked that they've done this before with others, but the last time was boring for them.

Whatever it is, I think I can safely confirm the Risen themselves are nowhere on the premises. They may be nearby, but it's unlikely they're in the building.
[And if that's wrong, then they're just lazy as fuck.]

It might just be a matter of security to not even let us hear even their distorted voices... or it's a sign that we're so remote that wireless transmissions would not reach us. While telepathy does, evidently.

It's an honestly unfortunate situation... we don't have any one among us who themselves one possessed telepathic abilities, do we? We'd direly need the active frame of reference.

Nothing on that level...
[For her at least.]

[ ... ]
...Er, to put that more simply, to those who might not be aware. A transmitter and a receiver are two parts of a whole communications device; the transmitter sends messages to the receiver, and the receiver turns those messages into output that we can hear. A transceiver, by comparison, both sends messages and receives them, which seems a bit more like what's happening here...

[ . . . Also PS she's totally sitting next to you and aiming to hold your hand. ]

Yes, that's true; after talking to her for a bit, you start to get a sense of what's off-limits versus what she can divulge. But it seems more like she's receiving messages and interpreting them to us, rather than the messages originating from her, in cases like this.

[ She's not making a show of the hand holding this time, more just... holding the hand. ]
no subject
[ She's not rejecting her hand, in any case. Nachetanya seemed a bit shaken up at the motive today, but she supposes she can't blame her. ]

... Hand squeeze. ]
