Week 2.

WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

Spilling a guilty man's blood is just and honorable, and very much in the mortal man's wheelhouse. Souls are up to the gods; you're not to muck around with that.

Honestly, the only person's blood I want to see spilled is Juri's.

I feel the same. But, if someone breaks the law, they need to be punished for it, no matter our personal feelings. That's just the way the world works. [baratheons are jerks who chop off their best friends' fingers for smuggling and make them kill dogs so.]

I'm more into "rehabilitate criminals" than "punish them".

Why bother? [this is a serious question] They'll only do it again, whatever it is. Steal, murder...

How do you know that if they're too dead to even try?

Not all of them die straight away. Some get sent to the Wall, to serve in the Night's Watch. Crueler than death, really.

Okay, what does the Night Watch entail.

Freezing your balls off in the far north, protecting the realm from snarks and grumkins and other creatures from a wet nurse's tales.

Sounds.... fun.

It's not meant to be fun. It's meant to be an honorable brotherhood bravely defending the realm... or some shit like that.

[pause] I shouldn't speak so crudely in front of a woman, but I've stopped caring. I suppose if they can try to slit a man's throat, they can handle some rough language.

All of our worlds seem so dramatically different. It's a wonder we've all ended up in one place.

Maybe that's why Juri grabbed us. He clearly thinks we're "interesting".

There's a method to this madness. We've just got to figure out what it is.

Like a puzzle. We just have to find the right way to approach it.

I've never been one for puzzles. I'll leave that part to the rest of you, and save my expertise for the "smashing Juri's head against the wall" part.
