Week 2.
With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

At least now we have better supplies for an emergency, now.
no subject
Yeah. I'm hoping we won't need them, but...
[Someone decided to kill and started this game. There's no telling how soon someone will decide to kill again. Isaac's certain that someone will kill, because being trapped in here sucks enough as it is.]
Well, we've got them now, and we've got a doctor. So that's good.

[ Because there will be a next time. She's sure of it.
She steps into the room properly, taking a look around. ]
... This is much better stocked than the rest of the building, isn't it?
no subject
[He shakes his head but he doesn't argue it. He absolutely agrees there will be a next time and he feels like he should try to believe that there won't be, but... it's not worth it. He doesn't need to get his hopes up only for it to come crashing down on him again.]
But uh, yeah, the rest of this place is... different. There's a good amount of stuff here I don't recognize.
[Part of that is because
19151908 anime germany, part of that is because Isaac is never around medical anything.]no subject
[ She's already given lessons on the kitchen, and she knows far more about medical equipment, all things considering. ]
But if you'd like to know how to use it, you'll have to seek out the doctor.

...So uh, how do you know about this stuff? Is it common where you're from?
no subject
[ She's silent for a moment before continuing. ]
... My family has high hopes for me. Hopes that will require extensive knowledge to achieve. Magic, history, war tactics, politics, anatomy, combat...
[ She smiles faintly, like it's nothing out of the ordinary. ]
There are more than a few academic subjects I'm knowledgeable in.
no subject
[He's not entirely sure how all of that fits together, but that sounds like a lot of studying. Isaac doesn't have any problems with a lot of studying since he's a huge nerd and enjoys it, but. That's a lot of expectations to put on someone.]
Is... is that something you're okay doing?
no subject
I don't mind the studying at all. I'm sure I would have taken to it myself even if I wasn't pushed towards it.
But from the moment you're born into a powerful family, your life ceases to be your own. That's something I was never fond of.
no subject
[He genuinely is. That sort of thing sounds horrible. Having no control over your own life and what you want to do... that sounds dreadful.]
I'm guessing there's no going against your family either?
[Both because they're family and because they're powerful.]
no subject
[ She doesn't sound very upset about it, however, her tone pleasant and mild. There's a distinctly flat, bland quality to her 'cheer', however. ]
I tried as much when I was just a girl. It ended horribly for everyone involved.
no subject
[...He's not sure this is a good idea given how he has no idea what Mahiru's doing with her expression and tone because he's so bad at reading people, but...]
Do you want to talk about it?
[Look at that Attempt.]
no subject
That's very kind of you to offer, Isaac, but... perhaps later.
[ She's pretty sure if she told him now she'd just traumatize him. ]
no subject
It's alright. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, but it might help a little. Maybe I'll ask again sometime.
[though seriously what is it with the girls here and being startled that someone is asking about their well-being this is horrible]
no subject
[ Sorry, Isaac, strings-free affection isn't something Mahiru has really had much exposure to. ]
... In any case, we may wish to take steps to safeguard this room. Someone may attempt to sabotage it.
no subject
I wouldn't be surprised. How do you think we should go about that, though?
no subject
Hmm... I don't think stationing a guard would be very reasonable, seeing as we'd need at least two.
[ She crosses over to the cabinets, studying them. ]
I suppose would could divvy up the most valuable of the supplies for safe keeping, but there's nothing to stop someone from abusing their share in that case.
no subject
[...in other words, he has no idea.]
no subject
[ It's alright, Isaac, Mahiru has no clue either. ]
