WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

[ Welllll, someone's looking tired. Aligula sets down a mug of hot chocolate with way too many marshmallows in it by Mahiru—she's got her own already and she was totally gonna give that one to Ferid but, well, he can deal. He never appreciates how much sugar love goes into this anyway. ]

Had a bad night, Detached?

[ because hers was kind of boring tbqh, all she remembered really was that she took some kid with awesome eyes and tied him up so he wouldn't stop being her conversation partner immediately ]

[ The offering of hot chocolate is a bit of a surprise, but after a moment of blinking Mahiru accepts it with a smile. ]

[ This is a lot of marshmallows, though, damn. As for the question. ]

Just a bad dream. It seems as though we may have an explanation for our inaccurate ages.

Missing memories, right? [ she'll sip hers, thinking about it. ] It'd totally make sense why I came in a costume—it must be like, Halloween or something? But that's still like, an entire month or so away...

[ ...well, at least she's only apparently missing a month or so, unlike everyone missing years. ]

What'd you dream about? Mine was boring, but it involved the kid one of my associates is totally looking for for his plan, so at least it wasn't totally fruitless. He was an awful conversation partner though—oh, but I totally got to learn the name of the scary guy that took my sweetheart away from me! It's the guy on my dislikes, that Klaus guy.

You can be super vague if you want. I've just heard that talking about them totally helps you feel better.

Interesting that Juri knew you disliked Klaus when you couldn't even remember his name.

[ That's... quite the explanation, otherwise. At least Aligula doesn't seem terribly upset about her dream, so that's something. Of course, Mahiru gets the impression Aligula doesn't get terribly upset about anything.

As for what Mahiru's dream was about... ]

Death. An enemy sect was attacking and cutting down people left and right.

[ She doesn't sound too shaken up about it, however, despite her lingering tiredness. ]

It doesn't account for the eight years I'm missing, however. It happened while I was still attending school as a student.

[ That'd pretty much be the right impression—there's only certain things she gets genuinely up-in-arms over. ...granted those have been pressed here a little already, but anyway, ]

Ohhhhh. Sounds interesting. [ like, really. ] Maybe you'll remember more soon? It's gotta be like, totally crazy disorientating to be missing that much.

Less so than you might think. As far as I can tell, my body is no different from what it should be. If it weren't for the board I would have never known there was a difference.

Ferid said the exact same thing, actually. You're both quite the flatterers.

Flattery implies I totally want something, doesn't it? I can totally see that with Ferid, but I like, totally don't expect anything in return! [ except compliments but anyway, ] I'm sure it's totally nothing to worry about, anyway. If you got like, a tattoo or something, then I'd totally be worried, but if everything's just like you left it...

Then there's totally no problem, right? [ ... ] Unless you do have a tattoo you don't remember getting.
