Week 2.

WEEK 2

With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

Or perhaps for just playing the game.

[...Walt hesitates for a second, staring blankly, as his expression sours. However, after a moment, he shakes himself out of it, scoffing at the people around him.]

You people seriously believe this? The man has shown little-to-no evidence that he can actually do anything.

He ripped out a man's soul like a rotten tooth. [y'know. in case you missed that.]

A simple laser light show is all it takes to convince you?

We call these things illusions, Robert. Simple tricks in order to convince others that they possess some kind of...extraordinary ability. Nobody has, and nobody ever will, actually have their soul ripped out.

Have any of your illusions ever left a man dead on the floor? That seemed damned real to me.

Given the right equipment...it could easily be faked. The man shone a light and had another man drop the floor. Not that special.

[shakes head] That's nonsense, and you know it's nonsense. What happened out there was as real as you or me.

No, actually, I know what happened out there was nonsense. I'm not convinced, and everybody here should see what a sham this is.
