WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

[Mack collects all the cards and starts laying them out in a different configuration.]

[Archie leans against the back of one of the other chairs, watching.]

Is that like the Beautifly effect? Beautifly flaps its wings in Hoenn, and a hurricane comes rollin' in on Unova?

[WHAT THE FUCK IS AN UNOVA AND A HOENN WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE EVEN FROM - uh.]

Yeah, exactly like that - Juri's announcement made me think of it. [She gestures at the cards she's laid out.] That and all this, I guess. I don't have enough information to understand it, though.

Hm. [He tilts his head to better read some of the cards. What's she trying to figure out here?] Don't worry about all that. He's not really a trustworthy guy, people've gotta know that much.

I believe he can do what he's promised, I just don't think it's as good of a deal as he made it sound. [She moves the Brady card off to one side and the Mack card off to another, and starts sorting them into two piles.] Because I think something like that happened where I'm from and it changed everything.

How d'ya mean?

[He'd thought they didn't know each other before getting here?]

I don't know. I might be overthinking, but. Do you ever have the feeling that you've met someone before? Like, in a different life?

[She has been feeling major deja vu since she got here, like she knows Brady? But she doesn't?]

Maybe a little. [As if he knows people from a different life...with less advanced graphics...] You thinkin' about Brady? He said you two were from the same place, you could've seen him around.

[destinycalling]

No, I know I've seen him around. He comes to my grandfather's shop to buy surf wax and stuff, but. [She shakes her head.] I feel like we were friends, though.

["Friends" sure is a funny way to say "dating," Mack.]

Sounds like you two've connected pretty well.

[Just an observation, yep.]

I guess. I don't think I'm more friend with him, over anyone else. [You keep trying to say that, Mack.] He's just easier to talk to than some of the people from weirder worlds.

[ahahahaha oh my god those two are gonna be a thing! Archie's grin widens]

Makes sense. I like talkin' to Cilan for the same reason - I don't have to explain everything I mention! Not like you people from your weird Pokemon-less worlds!

[destinycalling]

Oh, that's right. You were looking for them the other week. [She thinks about how Brady said the vending machine had stuff from home in it.] Hey, have you tried the vending machine? Brady got something out of it from our world. Maybe it has pokemon too.

Really? That could make sense...if they were in their Pokeballs, they could fit in there just fine.

[........ how does that work ...............

Is that??? Rude to ask??? Probably.]

I mean, I assume that if they're in there they'd be in a pokeball. I don't know how they'd come out otherwise.

Yeah, they'd have to be. Except Muk, but he'dve oozed on outta there by now!
