Week 2.

WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

[She almost says that no, there's no way.

But she thinks for a moment, and shakes her head briefly.]

There's gonna be someone who can. Or at least someone who thinks they can.

...Yeah, I know. I want to believe no one would, but...

[Well, people can be cruel. He's a soldier and he's had to take lives. It's terrifying to think that if he didn't know any of these people he might have been able to do something like that.]

But it's not like we can all just make a peaceful life here together forever.

[People have things to get back to! ...She might have things to get back to, but she's not sure if she could take a life to get there.]

[glaciates]

I know. I doubt there are many of us that really would be okay giving up everything back home just to try to live peacefully here.

[He certainly wouldn't be! He doesn't have alchemy here!!!]

We've got lives to lead! Stuff to do. Butt to kick.

[This place is pretty boring, to boot.]

[glaciates]

[SOME OF THOSE MORE THAN OTHERS, YEAH..........]

Here's hoping we find a way out soon.

[He doesn't sound very hopeful about it though, but that was an Attempt.]

Yeah, I mean... Maybe one of the doors that opens up will be an exit!

[...There really isn't a positive spin here.]

It's possible, isn't it? Even if the game isn't exactly the same as the one Mallick went through...

[Maybe the Adjudicator will let them go. But to get to that point, sacrifices are going to have to be made. There's no way the Adjudicator is going to let them go after only two deaths.

It's a really morbid thought and Isaac shakes his head.]
