Week 2.

WEEK 2

With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

Or perhaps for just playing the game.

COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

[...Today is apparently shaping up as a day that is just perpetually trying to put AZ on edge. He didn't expect to dream this week, for starters. Dreams only lasted for people that wanted them. AZ slept, and he woke up, simple. This one was... vivid. Extremely so, of things he hadn't seen before, but still... strangely accurate. Even if it confirmed his creeping suspicions.

Kalos really did never change, did it? Not even after two thousand and fifty years.

AZ woke up this morning with breakfast in mind (as keeping a steady schedule for eating is something normal people do) and for most of the morning AZ isn't doing anything special.

Then, that motive hits. And, well. Seeing that it had only taken a week before Juri rolled out an impressive offer like this, AZ was certain they may have a body on their hands before long. Of his twenty-eight fellow captives, someone had to be considering it. The power to change one part of yourself was a special one to behold.

After everything that decided to be, AZ is off to the kitchen again. He's gotten the relative hang of fixing a modern sandwich, so the visit is short before he's on the go again.

For the rest of the day he's... around. Basically everywhere. As disinterested as he may seem, seeing just what every new room had to offer was probably essential now. And it offers a few good distractions. Like the infirmary and it's many technological devices he's poking around at. A three thousand year old man likely knows what he's doing at least.

infirmary

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-13 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[Cilan's noticed AZ wandering around for a while now today, but eventually, he decides to speak up about it when he stops by the infirmary.]

What are you doing? [should you be poking at medical devices in here...]
losthisflower: (Old)

[personal profile] losthisflower 2016-07-15 08:20 am (UTC)(link)
[He looks at Cilan halfway through his inspection of a small package of IV supplies. Should he really have to explain himself?]

Seeing to our current supplies. And learning.

[There's plenty he's got to know still, apparently.]
cilantro: (why did I leave home for this again)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-15 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, I see. [Cilan considers the medical equipment around them, before frowning now.] This room would have been useful, had it been available to us last week.

[Maybe Sayaka's death could have been prevented if there had been an infirmary to bring her to when she hit her head, but instead...]

[personal profile] losthisflower 2016-07-25 08:06 am (UTC)(link)
[...Hmm.]

I do hope this room may still serve us well then. If we should ever need it. [His expression holds firm, but Cilan should know what AZ is thinking.]
cilantro: (my burgundy senses are tingling...)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-07-25 07:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed, though I should hope that nothing like that will happen again here, now that everyone is aware of the taste of the consequences we'll have to live with afterward.

[... Cilan, trying so hard to be the eternal optimist despite the mess that was that trial.]
losthisflower: (Disgruntled)

[personal profile] losthisflower 2016-08-10 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
.....It is quite the shame, is it not?

[Sorry, kid. AZ isn't much for optimism.]

Infirmary

[personal profile] evilfrenzy 2016-07-14 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh good lord the giant is in here and he's poking at things. Rideaux's not quite sure what to make of this at first, so he just kinda...slides into AZ's line of sight.]

Are you looking for something in particular, or...?

[The last thing he wants is for the giant dude to accidentally knock something useful over and break it.]
losthisflower: (HMM)

[personal profile] losthisflower 2016-07-15 08:23 am (UTC)(link)
[It's surprisingly difficult to just get AZ to notice you when you're in his line of sight. For starters, all that hair, and his height doesn't make things much easier. But you go on ahead, Rideaux. Do what you do.]

...[He grumbles a bit to himself, then...]

Investigating. The other rooms are not quite as interesting as this is.
evilfrenzy: (♟ can we not)

[personal profile] evilfrenzy 2016-07-17 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, thanks for eventually taking notice of him at least...]

I can't say I disagree there- it's the most familiar room for me that I've seen so far. Do you have any experience with medical equipment?
losthisflower: (Off)

[personal profile] losthisflower 2016-07-25 07:54 am (UTC)(link)
[Sorry, he's kind of got his thoughts on other subjects.]

Hmm... The way of caring for health in Kalos was simple, the last time I had been there. The main care method revolved around natural cures from roots, and Pokemon.
