Week 2.

WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

You're better off avoiding him. He's the kind of person that looks for a way to get under your skin and once he's found it he doesn't let go.

I'll keep that in mind. I know a few people like him, so I already know how to deal with his type.

[ Oh, but before she forgets— ]

Did you have any strange dreams last night? [ She and Rideaux decided to ask everyone they came across. ]

[glaciates]

...I did, yeah. I figured it was because of everything that happened, but... Well, it wasn't exactly a nightmare.

[Which is what his dreams have been since he woke up here, so that's different.]

[fittedgloves]

Oh? What was it, then?

[glaciates]

I dreamed about running into one of my fellow State Alchemists. Except he tried to kill me for some reason and that wasn't surprising at all. He also had a lot of soldiers with him and they were armed and I didn't find this weird at all.

[...you know, a totally normal dream that isn't a nightmare at all thanks isaac]

[fittedgloves]

...Is that sort of thing something that normally happens?

[glaciates]

No. It seemed normal in the dream, but there wouldn't be any reason for him to try to kill me. We're on the same side.

[hahahahahaHAHAHAHAHA]

[fittedgloves]

[ That... really doesn't sound good. ]

If it isn't something they would normally do, maybe you should rethink what was going on.

[glaciates]

It was just a dream. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

[He pauses for a moment, then forces himself to continue.]

The guy I dreamed about, Mustang. His alchemy's based around fire. Mallick was an arsonist. So... I guess it'd make sense that I was dreaming about Mustang because I feel terrible about what happened to Mallick.

[It makes perfect sense in his head, though if it had been closer to the dreams he normally has, it would have ended in his death.]

[fittedgloves]

[ She lets out a small breath. His logic at least makes sense, coming from a dream standpoint. But she doesn't want him to just brush it off either. ]

...I'm afraid that it might not have been just a dream.

[glaciates]

...What makes you say that?

[He doesn't like the sound of that at all and it shows.]

[fittedgloves]

I had a strange dream myself, and so did Shirogane-san and Rideaux. There's more to it than it just being a dream, don't you think?

[glaciates]

I... guess it's possible.

[He really doesn't like the sound of it and it's obvious.]

But what else would it be if it's not a dream?

[fittedgloves]

...They could be memories. You're free to not believe me, but I do have my own reasons for suspecting that this might be the case.
