WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

.... Yeah. Let's just put it this way: If your name gets drawn at this raffle thing, I guess you can call it, you go to the Capitol.

But you don't come back.

[ She pauses. ]

... But I came back home. I went through that once, and I guess I won, but I went back into that thing. And I don't know how.

[Oh. Oh jeez. He stares at her.]

It's like...a death sentence? And you got it twice?

Yeah, pretty much.

[ She's putting it as delicately as she possibly can, because she actually likes Brady. ]

So either I got really lucky and that stuff actually happened, or it's a stupid, impossible dream.

[meanttobe]

[He considers.]

But...it feels real. Hm.] I know... Mack kind of had an impossible dream too. Nothing like this, but. I don't know. Maybe something's going on here.

[flagitate]

... Was she in it?

[ It's a wild, crazy guess. Mack had said they came from the same place. So.... ]

[meanttobe]

My dream? [He shakes his head. His seems...even weirder than others so far.] But... I was in hers.

[flagitate]

[ ... Uh. ]

Did she say if you guys... really knew each other? Like friends. [ Or... more, like her and Peeta. ]

[meanttobe]

She... [Huh.] She didn't, actually? What she told me sounded pretty weird but I think we were at least friendly.

[Oh child you have no idea.]

[flagitate]

[ She's not gonna ask anymore, because Katniss has at least enough tact to not pry into someone else's dreams. ]

You look like you could use a smoothie. [ Since you're weirded out. ]

[meanttobe]

[Thumps head on to counter.]

Ughh, I would fight a whole bear for a Mango Tango right now. [He wants those to keep coming out of the vending machine, why can't he trade the throwing knives in for one.]

[flagitate]

If a bear shows up with a Mango Tango, I'll let you know. Maybe I can finally use some of those snares I learned from Gale.

Deal. You catch the bear, I punch it out, mango smoothie for everyone. ...Or just how many people can share one.

[flagitate]

Sounds like a plan. Or we just catch it and demand where it got it. Maybe there's a whole stash of them in this place.
