Week 2.

WEEK 2

With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

Or perhaps for just playing the game.

[YOU ARE THE WORST FRIEND!!!!]

...Yeah, it really could've been worse.

[He's got an Idea all right, but he won't press any.]

Walter suggested that we were put into a coma for awhile to explain the missing time, but that would've been seven years for me. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to move around alright after something like that.

[No signs of atrophy here! If anything he seems like, alarmingly fit for someone who's missing seven years.]
evilfrenzy: (♟ this could be bad uh)

[Isaac can blame Julius for it.]

Hmm. I'm not so sure about that either. Physical inconsistencies aside, why put some people in a coma for literal years when others seem to be missing no time at all?

[Katniss had fresh burns but was missing two years of time as well...how does that make any sense if she was in a coma?]

There could be some sort of amnesia involved, though it's a bit peculiar that it's only affecting some of us. Possibly a side effect of whatever they used to abduct us?

Amnesia seems to make more sense than anything else. I'll admit I'm not familiar with anything that could have caused that in Amestris, but there are plenty of worlds where something like that could exist. It's curious that some of us are missing so much longer than others, but I suppose that could be a side effect.

[The idea of missing seven years' worth of memories is sort of terrifying and not something Isaac wants to really think too much about!!]
evilfrenzy: (♟ oh here's a neutral one)

It's not extremely common in Elympios either. Usually it's tied to a head injury if it happens at all, so it's a bit difficult to believe that we all suffered injuries of varying intensity to trigger it.

It could be a drug of some sort... [He's not familiar with any in Elympios that would cause it, but.] It's worth bringing up to William at the very least. He told me he's worked in pharmaceuticals.

Walter was theorizing that it could be a drug as well. It's not something we can rule out, anyway.

[Though really, it could be anything at this point.]
evilfrenzy: (♟ are you kidding me)

As per usual, the most we can do is just file away some ideas for the time being. Who knows, more areas with clues might open up soon.

[The "if someone decides to do the murder thing" is implied, of course.]
