Week 2.
With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

Even if one loses the battle, it's not something to despair about, I think. What should matter is whether or not you and your Pokemon had fun, and if bond with them has ripened and produced a much stronger flavor due to your teamwork with one another. Plus, my brothers and I will always welcome rematches, so a trainer and their Pokemon are free to come back anytime they wish until they have gotten their gym badge.
[So no, no Pokemon death. It's just friendly sparring, or at least that's how it's supposed to be treated as.
Team Rocket sucks and they need to jump off a bridge.]no subject
You must really like that stuff. It sounds pretty cool.

[Oh hey, we're here at the dorms. Before we can go back to the kitchen and make caramel pancakes, Cilan just needs to drop off some more vending machine junk to go along with what he's already accumulated thus far, which if Katniss wants to glance in, appears to be a lot of random objects: two different pairs of shoes, a tumbleweed, some stuff sitting right by the door like weird jerky, a pin with some kind of bird on it, a pair of hair scissors, etc.]
no subject
She does glance in, mostly because she's just curious, and her gaze falls on that pin. She'd been wearing it in her dream, so... maybe... ]
... Hey. Where'd you get that pin?
no subject
[And then Cilan turns and frowns a little at the pin.]
Although, I must admit that I'm not familiar with any Flying-type Pokemon that look like this, so I assumed that it must be based on a bird from someone else's region...
[I mean it kind of reminded him of Fearow as far as the beak goes, but... yeah, otherwise he didn't recognize the bird very well.]
no subject
I think it's mine.

[ ... Yeah, she'll go ahead and take that, and place it in her pocket. ]
That vending machine is bizarre. Like it gave me this red and white ball that had a weird fish... thing... [ ??? ] inside.
no subject
... Is the ball red on the top and white on the bottom? Has a button on it that when pushed it caused this fish thing to appear from it?
[He doesn't want to get his hopes too high here but we gotta be sure!!]

[And now he's near vibrating with energy here just at the mere thought of it. What kind of Pokemon is it? What kind of taste does it have??]
Please, can you show it to me? I want to see what it looks like!
no subject
Sure. [ He's even more excited about this than food--?! ] I can go get it. [ ... ] Or you can come with me. I guess.
no subject
[After he locks up his room, that is, so that other people don't steal his stuff, but--yes, take us to the Pokemon, please and thank you.]
no subject
This is it. [ Katniss holds it out for him. ]

What a wonderful taste! Now that there's a Pokemon here, our lives will surely improve significantly!
[Namely of the "we might be able to bust out of here depending on what's inside it" variety, or at the very least introduce people to the wonder of Pokemon now. Still, he steps back a ways to open it just in case this Pokemon turns out to be particularly big (or god forbid, Archie's Sharpedo) and with a flash of light, the fish thing appears on the floor here.]
... Ah, this is a Stunfisk! This is a Pokemon that's commonly found in Unova, and is considered to have an amazing flavor of stealth to it in comparison to other Pokemon, due to it's ability to camouflage itself when lying on the ground or against the bottom of a lake or river... and this one appears to have been well-taken care of from what I can see of it: healthy in size, no discoloration that I can see...
[The Pokemon, who at first had probably given Katniss a brief "oh hey we remember you, you let us out for like five seconds only to put us back in again" look, it's expression almost seems happy for a second when it then lays eyes on Cilan... only for it to very slowly fall into an expression of confusion the more it listens to Cilan talk. Why is our trainer acting like he doesn't recognize us...]
no subject
At least she's made someone happy, wow. ]
So how's this fish th-- Stunfisk going to improve our lives here? [ ... ] It just looks like a fish, and no fish like I've ever seen.
no subject
[So yes, this is why Cilan thinks it's a good thing that we found this Pokemon.]
