Week 2.
With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

Oh, wait. ]
Cream isn't something I've had a lot of. Or sweeteners. [ ... But she's considering it, so. Good job? ]
no subject
...that said though.]
If you're willing to swap out your hot chocolate for coffee, I can get you started with a simple setup.
[He keeps making these offers and then realizing that he can't charge obscene amounts of gald in exchange. Damnit.]
no subject
... Sure. [ She does finish off her hot chocolate, though, before rinsing out the cup. ]
no subject
First, you start with about two-thirds coffee. So get that poured while I grab the cream and sugar.
[Which he'll go ahead and do now! Where did he see the cream in the fridge...]
no subject
Right. [ She pours the coffee into the cup, and that. Seems like a lot of coffee. She's wondering about this... ]
no subject
The remaining third will be a combination of these.
[He goes ahead and adds some cream and a teaspoonful of sugar to the cup, then mixes it all up.]
If it's still too bitter, you can add more as you make room in the cup. It might still be- I did brew this pot to be pretty strong.
no subject
... And she wrinkles her nose. ]
How'd you make it so strong?
no subject
The more grounded beans that you add, the stronger it ends up being.
no subject
Did you add a whole bowl of them?
no subject
[That's still pretty strong though...]
Consider the following: you just aren't used to it.
no subject
She's going to just casually grab a lot more sugar and dump it in. Take that, health benefits. ]
Maybe with enough sugar I will.
no subject
Fine, you can start with that much, but I'm going to start weening you off of it as you have more. You're getting into the 'what's the point' category.
[Rideaux you're not the boss of her.]
no subject
[ ZING. ]
no subject
If you're going to be like that, then you may as well go back to your hot chocolate.

no subject
Are you really that intolerant of bitter things?
no subject
My dad used to drink it all the time, and sometimes he'd tease me for not liking it. I guess I'm just too used to tea and hot chocolate now.
no subject
Well, tea is pretty good for you too. Probably a lot better option than coffee if you're fighting a cold. They both have their benefits.
[He doesn't seem overly fond of tea, judging by his expression. Looks like they're on different ends of the coffee vs. tea spectrum here.]

[ You weirdo. ]
no subject
[HOW IS THIS A NEW CONCEPT.]
The ingredients are designed to work well with milk. It's not like putting regular tea leaves in it and hoping for the best.
no subject
What kind of ingredients are you used to?
no subject
Well, for milk tea...spices, mainly? Cardamom, cinnamon, ginger... Also a bit of sugar.
[He's describing chai tea here, but whatever the Elympios version happens to be.]
no subject
... I've never had any of that stuff. Other than sugar.
