Week 2.

WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

Well! Far as I can tell, they're sorta like the animals you people got back home, except for all your animals being completely boring! Pokemon are a lot smarter, and they're damn loyal once they find a trainer they respect.

'Course, you gotta show them your respect too. Some of 'em can do things like shoot lasers, so...it's a partnership, not a pet kinda deal.

Hey, Repede's pretty smart and loyal too, even without being a Pokeyman. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Sounds just similar to the kind of partnership I've got with Repede anyway. Minus the lasers part.

[Oh? That's interesting. He's mostly heard people talk about animals in terms of what they eat.]

Some people would call him just a mutt or dog, but he's really my life-long partner. He's next to me in my profile picture thing that idiot Juri's got hanging up.

[ A small, fond smile. ]

We've been together since he was young. Inseparable, y'know?

Oh, that's what that's called! A dog, huh? He kinda looks like my Mightyena!

[Archie smiles in return.]

But yeah, I get it. It's the same with me and Sharpedo. I've had him ever since he was a little fish.

Mightyena, huh?

[ That sounds like actually a badass name??? ]

Y'know, I think I'd like to see either of those guys someday. Sounds like you've got some awesome partners by your side.

Heh, I do! And if we're lucky, ya might get your chance pretty soon! There can't be that much junk in that vending machine.

Good point. Looks like people got some pretty unique stuff besides the junk so maybe it wouldn't be too surprising if I did get lucky.

[ ... Which suddenly reminds him he needs to go and actually try it out himself sometime. Whoooops. ]

He must've just took whatever we had on us and shoved it in there. 'Cause why the hell not.

Juri does seem like the whimsy kinda guy. Y'know, on top of everything else.

[ If anything it'd be more weird if the guy hadn't... ]

Yeah he even has a fan-club and everything. Lucky guy, huh?

I only thought about pretending to be involved since he seemed to get really pissy when they kept asking about his love life and everything.

[ BUT AS FAR AS HE COULD TELL... some of them were. Really serious about being Juri's #1 fan. It was weird. ]

Eh, not worth it. I like watchin' him squirm as much as the next guy, but there's a line I'm not gonna cross. Ratin' his face is way past it.

[ That's probably why he didn't really, well. End up going through with it. ]

... I'd say yeah, but I'll say this:

Some of the people here are pretty eccentric. Doesn't look like the guy working with whoever is making them reconsider fawning over him. I also think they don't really realize the gravity of the situation they're in besides being crazy. I mean, I guess its possible they also think they can come out on top if they please the guy or pretend to be his fan too.

...nah, they're not thinkin' it through like that. They're just crazy!

[I mean have you seen Ferid and Aligula]

Yeah, you're right.

[ yeah, more ferid than aligula but he knows how crazy they'd get ]

I don't think I can realistically see them entertaining the idea besides to do their crazy fan routine, now that I think about it.

I think they'd get bored of it if he didn't give 'em reactions. But hey - his choice to let us all visit him whenever.
