Week 4.

WEEK 4 Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 23

...she did act condescendingly towards my friends and I. Izanami...that was her name...caused a lot of trouble, supposedly to know what humanity desired. We barely managed to overturn her plans, and that's only because we realized there was something wrong about all we knew.

[ As soon as Naoto mentions that name, Terumi bursts out laughing.]

Oh, oh did her plan involve killing everyone too? Or was it "purging all of humanity to rest it to a clean slate"?

Something similar to that. She believed we "wanted a world where we didn't have to see the truths", or something like that... [To be frank, she never understood that well Izanami's motives] ...and to achieve it everyone in the world would be turned into something more akin to beasts than to humans.

[That's a simple way to describe Shadows, she guesses. Going into much detail seems pointless]

It sounds to me like you know an Izanami too, Terumi-san.

That witch, always thinking she knows what's best for everyone. [ He sighs, long and drawn out.] I guess some things don't change, how boring.

I do.

[Somehow she feels she shouldn't completely believe everything Terumi may say about his past, but may as well ask]

What exactly did she try to do in your world?

Not much for the moment-- she's sealed away. Doesn't mean she stops making her desires known though.

Usually there'll always be someone to grant her desires, whether it's done willingly or unknowingly.

[Maybe there's someone already doing that, Terumi. It could even be you]

[ ... ]

Well she really can't do much when there are other Gods watching her, you know?

Are you sure about that?

[Gods can be terrible beings]

Izanami wasn't the only one who caused trouble back in my world. I hadn't realized it at the time, but my friends and I also fought her...grandchildren. They were involved in her plans too.

[Naoto isn't sure if the Sagiris she and her friends fought were the real ones, as Izanami insinuated she had spawned those two, but officially in the mythology she remembers the Sagiris and Izanami really are related]

What kind of shitty Gods run your world that they can't keep track of basic things like that?

...the type that don't like humanity very much, I guess.

Why's that matter? They should be keeping track of it for their own existence.

[Sigh]

In the end I guess it doesn't matter now. She was defeated, so everything should be fine in my world now. There's nothing else to be done.

You sealed her and everything? [ Looks he knows first-hand how much of a pain in the ass Gods can be.]
