Week 4.
Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

Well. She takes a quick shower before heading to the new corridor. To her surprise (and actual delight) there's a shooting range. Katniss spends some time surveying the bows before she picks up one she feels works for her. She takes a quiver of arrows next and lines up. Walk in and find her shooting--she hits the bullseye every time--or sitting against the wall with some food and a bottle of water. It's the most comfortable she's felt since coming here.
... When she leaves, she takes the bow and arrows with her. Huh. She makes a stop at her room before proceeding back to the new hallway.
Next, she finds the greenhouse, and it seems like Juri's actually given them useful stuff. She studies the plants, making note of what's here. She'll be willing to talk to anyone who comes in--she's pretty in the zone, though.
Finally, Katniss in the dining room later at night. She's got--what else--a pot of fresh tea (chocolate, this time) with some milk. She's a little mad that Rideaux was right, and that milk does taste good in some tea. There's also a stack of pancakes next to her. Some of them are a little burnt--namely, the ones on the bottom, but the ones at the top of the stack are pretty decently made. ]

"I spoke with the Adjudicator earlier this week. He said that we could request things, no strings attached. Even a room. And whether there was a murder or not, we'd get it on the following week. So I... asked for a pool or a spring. Something with a lot of water. I don't know if he'll carry through, but..."
It's also quite likely that her dream helped matters, as she seems to be brimming with hope for a change rather than starting the Sunday off looking like she's seen a ghost.
She does stop to eat breakfast -- it's the most important meal of the day! -- but she rushes through it, shoveling her food into her mouth with as much haste as she can muster without simply cramming it all in her mouth. After that, she's in a hurry to get exploring, and when she finds the pool she clenches her fists and pumps them with excitement.]
Yes!! He really did it!
[In the morning, you can find her around there, checking out the new space, or over in the greenhouse taking in deep whiffs of the flowers. Not picking any of them, though, and her fingers are very dainty in how they touch the blossoms as if she's afraid of breaking or bruising them.
Later in the day, she returns to the pool with the Water Lover racing swimsuit that she won from the vending machine. She would have brought it earlier, but if the pool hadn't been there... well, that would look pretty silly, wouldn't it? She changes into it in the dressing room, cutting a truly striking figure with the sleek design, and takes a dive into the deep end. She's not a professional swimmer by any means, but she seems to be having a good time -- swimming down to the bottom and looking around the pool floor at some times, relaxing on the surface at others.]

Hey, thanks for asking for this. I didn't think he'd actually agree to it, but... it's really nice.

[That excitement seems to be catching on around here, or something. As Jean was on her way to the pool, so was AZ, who happened to catch that interesting outburst of hers. There's simply no way that he can be as excited about water as the rest of these younger folks.
He doesn't ask anything, merely a quizzical head tilt at her.]

"Not so fast!"
...
"Why can't you fools understand? I'm trying to save this country!"
Normally Isaac is out of his room before the clock even chimes for the morning, but today it takes him a lot longer to leave. It's nearly nine o'clock when he finally does, though he doesn't seem any worse for the wear. The first stop is the kitchen, because he should probably fix something to eat, though that's simple and over with quickly.
There's a new section that's opened up (because Mallick was right, they just have to keep proceeding through these doors) and Isaac takes a brief look in the greenhouse and the shooting range before checking out the last area.
Judging from how quickly he brightens up when he see the pool it's fairly safe to say that whatever happened in his head this morning isn't as important as the fact that there's a pool. He'll spend a few minutes getting changed into some swim trunks from the changing room and then immediately dive into said pool. He is probably not leaving. Ever. He is going to live in this pool with the shark, don't try to stop him.
He'll eventually leave the pool to go eat and carry on his normal routine, but if you come back late at night after the clock has chimed, you'll find Isaac sitting by the pool. He's not actually in it or changed into the swimsuit this time, but he's working on notes and keeps looking at the water like this is helping somehow. He's intensely concentrated on whatever it is he's writing, but eventually he comes to a stop and just. Stares. Either he's made a breakthrough or he's hit a wall and either way doesn't look good.]

NOW UNDER THE RIGHT TOP LEVEL I AM SO SORRY
"Every minute that we're here...is another minute we're together."
On Sunday morning, Brady wakes up restless. Finally he's remembered something about being stuck in the movie, and it wasn't what he expected. That...does add a little context to the situation, doesn't it. He wonders if Mack knows, about why she was so anxious to get back, but-- After last week, he's even more sure that he doesn't want to waste time...but also after last week, he knows pushing her won't do anything but make her withdraw more.
Besides, he does have a shark to take care of.
So against everything in him, Brady doesn't tear over to room 24 again, and instead decides to spend the day looking around the new area. The shooting range doesn't interest him, nor does the greenhouse, but the pool? Well, of course it does. You can find Brady and Sharpedo here for most of the day, though the poor shark is rather low energy. While it's not salt water, Brady does seem a little more upbeat after dipping his feet in for awhile. ...And taking a bit more of an intensive swim, eventually.
At some point, he drops by the memorial. Not for long, but just long enough to leave Archie's bandanna. Sharpedo isn't with him at this time.
As night draws closer, he can be found around the sewing room, gathering up balls of yarn. No prizes for guessing what those are for. Even though Sharpedo doesn't seem in the mood to play, always have to be prepared, right?]

some investigation
He will also pay special attention to the pool in particular, since that room is large and open. Much easier to measure by sight with nothing in the way. Though he does take time to check out the room more thoroughly, since he has never been to a pool before and all.
Over the course of the day, he draws a very crude map, one which has notes written all over it. The notes are entirely in Italian, but it's not hard to guess what he is writing based on context clues.
As the day progresses, Luca looks more and more troubled.
Eventually, in the evening, Luca can be found in the kitchen gathering some things for a light dinner. But he does not eat in the dining room, instead opting for his own room, where he sits and pours over his notes from the day. He will be working very late into the night, if anyone wants to go see him.]

Terumi's laughter can probably be heard from the dormitories if you're by his room. And after, well that changes some things, doesn't it?
Later he can be found in the library with a seemingly endless trail of notes. They're written completely in some type of runic language which a whole bunch of numbers and complex math calculations. At least from the numbers, it looks to be calculations for probability and odds ratios weird.]

Suck it, Jack.
Anyway, Angel spends today exploring the new area in... well, brighter spirits than last week, certainly. She stops by the Greenhouse first because UM PLANTS THO??? Like she hasn't seen a real plant in a very long time, so she spends a while just... walking around and looking at all of them. They're so green and plant-y, you guys!
She skips the shooting range, though, in favor of... that's a pool. A real pool, with like. Water one can immerse themselves in. Although she regrettably cannot do much more unless someone offers to teach her (one doesn't generally learn to swim living in an isolation chamber for like ten years), Angel spends a long time in a swimsuit just... sitting by the side of the pool with her legs in the water. This also means, should you walk up behind her, that the four big closed metal ports on her back are exposed! As are the full extent of her Siren tattoos, which cover most of the side of her body upon inspection. In case you want to talk to her about those.]

"A promise? What, between us?"
"Yeah. Talkin' about you dancing for the people here made me remember. We were just kids. I don't blame you for forgettin' it."
Inigo wakes up in a good mood; his dream was another dose of Outrealm nonsense, but the conversations with his friends have brought a bit of joy to his heart. Owain may live in his imaginary world 90% of the time, but he truly is somebody he can depend on.
After eating breakfast, he goes to the memorial to add something he'd gotten from Juri. Should you enter the dining hall, you'll probably notice that the memorial now has pictures of the deceased. They're just copies of the photos in the foyer though.
Later on, he'll be in the greenhouse for most of the day. He's missed nature, and while this isn't like being outdoors it's nice and quiet and he loves it. He studies the plants, takes deep whiffs of the flowers and eventually he sits down under one of the fruit trees and pulls out the sketchpad he got from the art studio. He draws some flowers (they're recognizable as lilies, even if he isn't the best artist) before moving on to sketch a faceless female figure wearing a revealing outfit followed by a male figure wearing this. ]

What...?
[ After that, Mahiru turns on her heel and runs all the way back to the foyer. Once there she stands in front of the student profiles, looking equal parts shocked and stricken. She stays there for several long moments, her gaze flicking back and forth between Archie and Flemming's profiles with growing and frustrated confusion.
Later, after vanishing into her room and only emerging again several hours later, Mahiru can be found in the library. She's quiet, her expression pensive, and she meanders through the shelves without paying attention to where she's going, running her fingers over the spines of books without reading the titles. It doesn't seem like she's interested in reading much for once. ]

Well, after eating breakfast, she heads to the library to look for anything on Hoshido and Nohr. And... Valla, maybe? That's what they were talking about that place being, right? Man, she'd never even heard of Valla and then she has all this stuff about Ankanos and averting the destruction of the world in a big mess where she's pretty sure she helped shoot a ball of eyes to death. She's not searching as hard as she could be, granted, since she's pretty sure they have a new location and all and she wants to check that out. Maybe she'll come back later?
...
Well, okay. Later meaning tomorrow, probably, or some other day, since there's... there's a greenhouse. It's got growing things in it. Plants to be tended. Fruit to be plucked. Flowers to be smelled.
She's crying tears of joy. She may be hugging an apple tree like it's a long lost friend she thought was dead. Life is actually good once again. There may be other things in this wing, but they can wait.
...well, she does manage to pry herself away from the greenhouse sometime in the evening, where she can be found in the kitchen making stew and humming a happy tune. It's a pretty traditional beef one, but man, does it ever smell good.]

For the first time in what seemed like an eternity, AZ woke in a cold sweat. Obviously, he won't let it show too badly, but in the morning it's clear that something is weighing on his mind, especially as he wanders out into the foyer again to... sit and do nothing, it would seem.
Okay. Okay. There's an entirely new section of the building to investigate, and everyone's heading that way. AZ will just slowly catch up to them.
He finds the greenhouse soon enough, and it seems like this place brings him the closest peace of mind. Plants and beautiful nature, wherever he looked. There's no investigating in here, AZ just kneels down to look over the many, many flowers.
So many colors... but not the one he needs. Never.]
