Week 4.

WEEK 4 Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 23

[ So far the dreams Terumi has had haven't mattered all that much. They were all retellings of the same trite story line with only one variable changed here and there-- even if some were more amusing than others. But today? His dream shows him something else entirely:

"Noel Vermillion!"
"Captain...Hazama?"
"See me, Noel Vermillion"
"W-what?"
"You saw me, you freakin' saw me didn't you!?!?!?!"

Terumi's laughter can probably be heard from the dormitories if you're by his room. And after, well that changes some things, doesn't it?

Later he can be found in the library with a seemingly endless trail of notes. They're written completely in some type of runic language which a whole bunch of numbers and complex math calculations. At least from the numbers, it looks to be calculations for probability and odds ratios weird.]

[Those are pretty runes. They're nothing like Ferid has seen, either, though mathematics is a universal language and he wonders what use for them Terumi has.]

I didn't take you to be the type who keeps himself busy with things like this, Terumi, but I suppose we all have our surprises~. What's this you're doing?

I'm usually very busy.

Can't you tell? [ He's just going to helpfully point at all the equations.]

[Well, well, if that isn't an invitation to just lean the fuck over, then what is it. Ferid'll study them.]

Hm, hm~. Let's see, are you calculating the probability of survival for the others here?

[He knows probably not, but if Terumi isn't gonna be helpful he isn't going to be entirely serious. Like he is anyway.]

[ Terumi doesn't mind at all and the notes are actually neater than one would expect of someone like him. Still aside from the math it's impossible to tell what's going on.]

That's funny that you think I'd care that much. [ He will laugh a little even!]

Everyone's full of surprises. For all we know, you could be the softest heart of us all.

[Yeah right. The guy laughs at too much inappropriate shit for that.]

Still, your list is rather impressive, even if I don't understand a thing on it~. What are these drawings of yours?

[hentopan]

[ Okay Ferid hold on for a few seconds as he laughs again, this time for substantially longer.]

That's an even better joke! [ After he's done being thoroughly amused:]

They're not drawings, they're runes. Old language, but not bad for keeping notes in.

[Why doesn't Aligula like you, Terumi. You laugh when you're supposed to!!]

I haven't seen anything like them before! Even the ones I'm vaguely familiar with, [being as old as he is,] don't resemble them so much, though I suppose that's just a difference between worlds~. Do they relate to your numbers?

They do. I suppose next you're gonna ask what they mean, huh? The last time I tried to explain something to someone it was just a waste of time. [ He shrugs.]

They also didn't have a myriad of experiences and knowledge that spans thousands of years, Terumi. Try me.

If you don't deal with time manipulation and continuum shifts, it doesn't matter how old you are.

You're right, I wouldn't understand a word of it. Unless you're incapable of explaining it simply?

Why the hell would I bother to? [ He's so pleasant.]

... You've gotta be kidding me.

[ Let's pretend he was walking by and he knocks on Terumi's door. ]

Hey, what are you doing in there? Some kind of one-person comedy routine?

[hentopan]

[ Oh he almost didn't hear that knock! Kind of a miracle he heard it really, considering how hard he was laughing. But give him a second Yuri and he'll open the door. It's no surprise that Terumi's grinning as he tends to do, but this time it's different. This time he looks actually happy in that maniacal way. Someone had a good dream.]

Yo Yuri! [ And he is not answering either question, but if Yuri wants to come in he totally can.]

[hesperos]

[ Yuri has no problem strollin' on in... and maybe he should, but he doesn't-- someone has to keep an eye on the guy. So guess what, Yuri's taking up that job. ]

Yo. I almost expected you to have trashed your room with all that laughter too. Anyway, how goes it?

[ Also how's your room... is it a mess? ]

[ Actually his room.... is very neat actually. Kind of strange, considering how he is but it almost looks immaculate.]

Just because I like breaking things doesn't mean I do it without a purpose you know~.

[ A beat.]

Fucking fantastic. [ As if that wasn't evident already.]

[hesperos]

Just making sure.

[ He'll whistle, looking around the room. ]

...Never figured you for a neat freak.

What? It's easier to keep track of things this way. [ Casual shrug.]

I'm guessing asking you to help organize my room is out of the question?

[ He's not being serious, honestly. ]

Yeah it is. Unless you're feeling pretty generous and wanna sort through a sea of pillows.

[ Don't ask. ]

[ He just kind of glares at Yuri for a few seconds.]

You didn't get a weapon, did you? [ Or is your RNG as bad as his is.]

What's so bad about pillows?

[ He'll laugh it off, pretending he didn't get the reason for Terumi's irritant. It was almost adorable, in a way. ]

Nah, I didn't, unless you count a rock from whatever week ago as a weapon. What about you?
