Week 4.

WEEK 4 Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 23

[ Inigo isn't prepared for this.

He doesn't say anything, he lets Isaac talk without trying to interrupt him, his gaze focused on the water. It takes him a long moment to process all that once it's out there; his eyes widen and he inhales sharply once he remembers to breathe and he can feel something wet forming in his eye. ]

I... [ He honestly has no idea what to say. His lip is quivering a little. ] Y-You're right.

[ A tear begins to trickle down his cheek, followed by another. ]

[glaciates]

I know I am.

[Despite the words, the tension leaves him. He's not really sure what to do with the tears but he tries to think of something else to say that's less... all of that.]

Sorry, that was a lot to tell you. But I really do think it's important to let yourself break every once in awhile. If you want most people to think you're invincible, that's okay. But as long as there's one person you can trust with everything, I think you'll be alright.

Thank you. I really needed to hear that, Isaac.

[ He seems to have calmed down a little, and once the tears stop flowing he wipes them away with the back of his hand. ]

[Oh, so he needed to hear that...! Well, good!! Hell yeah, he didn't fuck it up!!]

I haven't been in your exact situation, obviously, but I'm sure it's really rough too. For what it's worth, I think you're handling it alright. I personally wouldn't handle it like that, but you do seem to be fine most of the time.

[It doesn't mean you are though and that seems to be a running theme with Isaac's conversations here.]
