Week 4.

WEEK 4

Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week.

COMPETITORS REMAINING: 23

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

[ Mahiru actually considers that offer. On one hand, having a cover story would be helpful. On the other hand, she already owes Ferid more than she would like and owing him any more than that seems dangerous. In the end... ]

No. That won't be necessary.

[ In large part because even with her spotty memories she knows very well what she's like in that state. She's likely to contradict Ferid just to laugh at the shock in the others' expressions. ]

If you're taking requests, however, there is something you can do for me.

And what would that be, my dearest friend?
middaymoon: (ɴᴏᴡ let it linger)

In the long term, hiding my 'spells' will be impossible in such close quarters. I'd still prefer to be kept abreast of events that transpire during them, however.

[ She's relying far, far too much on Ferid, she knows. She doesn't consider him trustworthy, but she does consider him somewhat familiar. It's the best she'll get. ]

Can I rely on you for such a task?

[Ferid seems to consider this far long than he actually does; the answer is an unmistakable yes, of course, whether he tells her the full truth of those times or simply what he wants her to know, but he'll give it pause.]

It would be my pleasure, Mahiru, to aid you in whatever way I possibly can~. After all, you've been keeping my secret, so why shouldn't I help you with yours?
middaymoon: (ᴛʜᴀᴛ your thoughts aren't quite clear)

That I have.

[ A pause, and then: ]

Claiming to be uneasy around blood is quite clever, by the way. I hope you won't use the ruse against us later.

Who can say? After all, I want to save my own skin just as much as anyone else here -- especially while things are going so well at home~.

[It isn't a ruse he can keep up for forever, but it has its uses now. He just needs to make good on it should anyone test the validity of it.]
middaymoon: (ᴛɪɢʜᴛʟʏ hold your hand)

Just don't end up in a situation where you need to blow your cover to make yourself seem less suspect. That would reflect poorly on both of us.
