Week 4.
Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

[He barely catches a yawn, squeezing his eyes shut for a moment, before trying to shake it away. Today's the only day that anyone's gonna have seen his apparently fucked up sleep schedule affect him.]
What would you like, Katniss?
no subject
I told you about Prim's-- [ her voice catches, but she manages to recover, ] --cat, Buttercup, right? Can you make a cat?
no subject
Certainly. Is there anything special about Buttercup?
no subject
Squashed face. Half of his left ear is missing.
no subject
I'll have it finished by... [...] By the end of the week, I think.
[Okay. Now. Be yourself.]
Have your dreams been well?
[There. Managed.]
no subject
[ Except he's not fooling her. ]
... What happened to you?
no subject
... It takes a little too much thinking to lie convincingly. Have this instead:]
It's just one of those days, I suppose.
no subject
Did someone slip you something? I know what it looks like when someone's messed up on drugs.
no subject
[There's no point in covering it up if she's guessed right, after all.]
To get back at me for interrupting her beauty sleep, no doubt. What a vengeful young woman...

[ahhhh yes. but if you can't drug your friends, who can you drug]
There's no love lost between us, I assure you, she's still as much my friend as she ever was! Though she says that word is too strong to describe what we have.
no subject
[ ... huh. ]
What word does she use, then?
no subject
[... They're friends as far as anyone else is concerned and they hang out and get along and muck around and other people join in that mucking around for some reason, but they're not friends.]
no subject
Is "interesting company" as close as you get to friends?
no subject
[... Seeing as, well. You know. Ferid waves his hand.]
It isn't to say I dislike anyone here -- it's quite the opposite, even towards those who dislike me. I find everyone here to be interesting in their own way and I'd like to see them survive.

[ She doesn't really have room to talk, though. Beetee. Wiress. Finnick, Johanna (somehow), and Peeta. Peeta. Peeta...
There's a look in her eye that he might be able to catch before she looks away, quickly. ]
So what way am I "interesting" in?
no subject
You remind me of someone I'm fond of back in my world. He's very dedicated to finding and rescuing his brother, and his temperament...
[There's a little fondness to his smile, though it's notable still amused and tired.]
You're as easy to read as he is, at times. Both surly, both distrustful, both wary... he would do anything to protect his brother, much like you would do anything to protect your sister; I think you and him would get along.
[If you weren't human, anyway.]
no subject
Sounds like a hell of a guy. [ It's all she can really say. ]
no subject
[Right under Likes, there. You're someone he likes because you remind him of someone he likes.]
... But as I asked before, Katniss. Have your dreams been well?
no subject
[ ... Sometimes, she really hates your one-track mind, Ferid. ]
They're fine. [ You're not fooling anyone, Katniss, god. ]
no subject
Mine have been as well. [She's lucky he's too out of it to want to chase that rabbit.] Genuinely fine, too. Not the sort I wouldn't want to discuss, like yours.
[... He'll say that much, but it's obvious isn't not going to push it today.]
no subject
Well. That's good. [ ... ] Anything exciting?
no subject
A grand party's just beginning. Everyone's arrived and the guest of honor is descending the staircase-- [a yawn interrupts him and he looks vaguely irritated before shaking his head.]
It's all very exciting. I'm sure there would be some who disagree, but the tide of war is turning in our favor, so why shouldn't I be happy?
